Hi Everyone! How is everyone on this Super Bowl Sunday? I'm doing fine. Wishing I was with Heather in Tampa but I have the second best thing, a party ant Dad and Mom's that I will be going to very shortly.

Still feels like Summer here. I don't think Winter really exists. All of you keep telling me it is cold, sub zero, and you like it that way. Are you guys all nuts? LOL Wouldn't you rather be basking in the sun in a swim suit or huddled up in a "Snuggie" or worse, shoveling snow?

Valerie just got here and says hi! She says she will make an entry soon, well she didn't really, I added that in the hopes that she will. LOL

I'm so sorry everyone that I have been neglecting my Bloggerville friends and my own blog as well. I think I need to go to Sorority Life anonymous . . . hey they just may have a group on myspace for people like me . . . maybe I can get addicted to that as well. LOL

I hope all my very cold friends in the midwest and East are OK and have power and are staying warm. I hate to mention this, but Summer has yet again paid us a visit and the temps were near 80 again today. I even thought about going down to the pool and laying out to work on my Winter tan but thought against it and decided I really shouldn't bring this up and post this since Y'all would be envious, but I thought, they love the snow, snowmen, snow angels, etc. and really don't care about beach weather in January. I know, Y'all want to smack me about now so I will stop.

Work has been very busy and very rewarding as well. I just love my job and literally can't wait to get up in the morning to go. It is my hope that everyone would have that kind of experience with their career. The only thing I'd change about it is that I so desperately want to work with children and I haven't had as much chance as I would like up until now. But I am a patient girl and I know I will get my opportunities.

Has anyone been watching American Idol? I have, and I think there are a lot of people with great potential and I look forward to following it until they crown the season 8 winner. I watched the premier of Hell's Kitchen tonight. I just adore Chef Ramsey and I know if I put my sorry cooking but on that show that he would take pity with me especially after I batted my eyelashes at him a few times. LOL

Survivor and the Amazing Race start up again next week. I can't wait. A reality show lovers Heaven. Remember, if anyone is interested, I do have a reality show group on myspace.com and if any of you would like to partake just let me know.

I hope the Cardinals win the Super Bowl this Sunday! I am once again jealous as Heather and her family will be departing shortly for Tampa to go to the game. She is such a spoiled chick.

I want to mention Valerie for a second too. She has obviously been neglecting her blog lately,even worse than muah! She has been very busy with work and going out on dates and breathing. So if anyone is worried about her don't be, she is perfectly ok and of course very beautiful as well.

Just wanted to stop by with a short entry.

I have to start out with a Happy Birthday to my friend Heather! She will be celebrating it tomorrow, January 20th. I know she will have lots of fun and hopefully me too. LOL

Another great thing happening tomorrow of course, is that we will have our new President sworn into office just after noon East coast time. I am so exciting I could pee my panties just thinking about getting that current poser out of the White House. I have had enough with that murderer, thief, and liar. I wish I could tell you what I really think about Bush, but I'm a nice innocent girl and can't. LOL

Barrack gives us hope at a time we sure need it. We need to be able to believe and trust in our leaders and I am hoping and praying that he can be the person that will restore that to us, the American people. So no matter how you voted, please take an opportunity to pray for him and our country and give him a chance before casting judgment upon his administration.

A New Weekend

It's been a while since I've made an entry. I didn't realize it has been so long. I guess I have been preoccupied with a bunch of stuff.

Me and my sister went to AZ to be with our cousin Michelle for a few days between Christmas and New Year's. She was doing ok despite the recent break up of her marriage. Then this past week her mom had a stroke. I feel so bad for her, going through so much and at one time like that. It is so hard for me to relate personal experience to her situation since I have seemingly led a non eventful life and bad things haven't befallen me so much. If you could all keep my cousin Michelle and her family in your prayers I'd appreciate it.

Another reason why I haven't been here is that I have become consumed, totally addicted to this game on myspace called Sorority Life. I have never been one to let something do this to me but here I am anyway. It doesn't help that my friend Heather is doing it as well so we are pretty much doing this together.

Work was pretty smooth this past week with the exception of one day where I was pretty well drained . . . but coming home to the Sorority Life game kinda picked me up. LOL

I was very happy watching the People's Choice awards this week, seeing Carrie Underwood singing and winning three awards. She is totally awesome and gorgeous and talented.

Hi everyone! Happy New Year to everyone! I'm sure looking forward to the hope and promise that 2009 has in store for all of us.

Went to Arizona this week with my sister Carrie to see our cousin Michelle and spent some time with her and her children. It's a difficult time for her right now but she is holding up very well and we all had a very good time. She is so sweet and beautiful and always has been. We have always been very close.

We all had a nice Christmas as well this year. Have family and no health issues this year was quite the blessing.

Last night was quite a nice party at Heather's house. They always have such a nice shindig for New Year's Eve. We rang in the New Year with kisses and champagne, although some of spent some of the evening on myspace playing that Sorority Life game. I hate to say it but I'm completely addicted to this game. Heather is also but I think to a lesser extent.

Valerie looked her beautiful self last night as well, it has been a week since I've seen her and I did miss her. Tomorrow is her 25th Birthday, so happy birthday to my sweet little friend, I luv ya!

Today was full of excitement since we all got to go to the Rose Bowl game where we got to see our Trojans trounce Penn. St. It was my third Rose Bowl game in a row that I attendend and it never ceases to be exciting. I am fortunate to be able to go to these games and want to thank Heather and her dad for taking us . . . you guys are the best.

Hi Everyone, I thought I'd better update again. The last thing you saw from me was Cosmo and getting naughty. Hehe So I figured when Valerie came over tonight, to make up for that it was time to make super sweet so we can be on the nice list this year, so we watched the Santa Claus and the Santa Clause 2. Do any of you have tears in your eyes watching these movies like me? I do that for all sorts of movies that have any sentimentality to them. So hopefully Santa Baby saw that and put me on the nice list and if he did I have something nice for him come Wednesday night. Hehe

It was a very good week for me. I pretty much finished all my Christmas shopping, and had a very productive work week as well. I love this time of year don't you? All the twinkling little lights, the displays in the front yards, the work parties, the family get togethers. I absolutely just love it. Valerie is spending some time with me this weekend and we are going to Heather's family's big annual Christmas Party tomorrow night. Can't wait, it was so much fun last year.

Rene is doing well now that he is out of school until January. He is busy working and is out with the guys tonight. It's been a while since he had some free time and he deserves some fun time away from his wifey . . . but that doesn't mean he can stay away too long cause his little Allison has been reading some more Cosmo. LOL I will have to share again soon! : )~

Obviously, there are plenty of amazing sex positions to choose from, and we've brought you our fair share of them. But there's one in particular that rises above the rest on the steaminess meter: getting busy against a wall. In a recent Cosmo poll, men (and women too) voted this sexiest position of all. (Maybe we can thank the lusty library scene in Atonement, when James McAvoy ravishes Keira Knightley against a wall-to-wall bookshelf!)

The basic primal nature of having sex against a wall is the reason why it's unbelievably torrid. "When you're so aroused that you just can't wait another second, this is an immediate solution for expressing that intensity," says Lori Buckley, PhD, sex therapist in Pasadena, California. "The fact that your guy is pressing you into the wall lends it an urgent, almost aggressive feel." But while this position couldn't be hotter, it's not the smoothest to put into action. So it helps to have a primer.

Maximize What Makes It So Scorching
The sense of urgency in wall sex is one of its lustiest selling points. Amplify that by leaving on some of your clothes, suggests Buckley. Begin ripping off each other's attire as soon as you walk through the door, yet don't take everything off — for example, you can have him pull down your underwear but keep your skirt on or unbutton his shirt without stripping it off.

Also adding to the appeal is that you're being dominated. "Some guys love to feel powerful, and since he has you pinned against the wall, he's in complete control of the pace and depth of his thrusting," explains Sari locker, PhD, author of The Complete Idiot's Guide to Amazing Sex. With your man right in front of you and the wall buffering your back, your movement is restricted. You'll experience a sensation of vulnerability and confinement, which can be a huge turn-on.

Another hot bonus is the superb clitoral stimulation the position provides, according to Buckley. Your pelvis is slightly lower than his, putting your hot spot directly in line with his pubic bone. When he's deep inside of you, gently rub your C-spot against him. At the same time, tighten your thighs — it'll narrow your vaginal canal, creating pleasurable friction.

Master the Position
Stand about a foot away from the wall, and lean your back against it. Your man should stand facing you, so close that you're almost touching. Straddle his legs, have him bend his knees slightly, and slide your back down the wall to lower yourself onto him. As he slips his hands under your butt, wrap your legs around his waist. For balance, circle your arms around his neck or back or hold on to his arms. Firmly press your back against the wall for leverage while he straightens himself up.

Because you have limited mobility, he'll be doing the thrusting, rocking your pelvis back and forth with his hands in tandem with his movements. When you're finished or want to try a new position, make the transition seamless by having him squat down until your feet reach the floor.

Special Challenges Since the position requires considerable strength on his part, you probably can't sustain it for very long. If there's not too much of a height difference between you, nix fatigue by remaining standing, rather than having him lift you. Hook one of your legs over his inner elbow, keeping the other on the floor for balance.

You might also worry that he's doing most of the work. "Stressing about whether he's running out of steam or you're too heavy can interfere with your enjoyment," says Buckley. Keep in mind: He's so excited to try this sizzling style that he's probably just thinking how sexy it all is.

If you do want to get more involved, here's a fix: Have him pull you a couple inches away from the wall, until only your shoulders rest on it. Then begin slowly circling your hips in either direction. It is a great sensation and also gives you some control.

Try a Sexy Variation
A doggie-style spin feels super-naughty, plus it's easier than the regular move. Stand an arm's length away from the wall, facing it, with your legs shoulder-width apart and your knees slightly bent. Bend over so your torso is at a right angle to the wall, parallel with the floor. Place your palms against the wall, and let him enter you from behind. (To make up for a minor height discrepancy, stand on your tiptoes or have him bend his knees until he's level with your vagina.) Push your hands against the wall in time with his thrusts or reach down and stimulate yourself.

You also can regulate how far he penetrates you. If you're craving intensity, bend farther toward the floor. "He'll be able to enter you very deeply, and you'll feel increased pressure," says Locker. For shallower penetration, straighten up slightly. "Each angle grips the penis differently, providing new sensations for both of you," explains Locker. You also can stand up and press your entire body into the wall.

For this next hot twist, place a bar stool against the wall, perch on the edge of it, and lean back to rest your shoulders on the wall. Your pelvises will be nearly aligned, so he can slide right into you. For increased friction, wrap your legs around his butt. "The stool allows the two of you to concentrate more on kissing and touching and less on maintaining balance," notes Locker.

And that extra affection lends the sexiest position a very sensual and intimate vibe too.

5 Hot Things to Do with Your Hands
While he's holding you during wall action, your fingers are free to roam. These moves will max the pleasure.

1. Draw him close.
Arch your back, and put one hand behind his neck and pull his face toward your breasts. It shows how bad you're craving him.

2. Apply pressure.
Push your nails into his back or gently tug the roots of his hair. A rough touch feels wild and conveys your excitement for him.

Hump Day Happenings

Had a very busy and trying day today. Sometimes clients get so emotional and when that happens it tends to make me get that way too. I know I have stated this in the past, but it is hard for me to not show emotion. It was actually a very good thing for my client today letting go since they had tried very hard to keep it bottled inside. The client saw my tear and started apologizing and I had to tell them that there is no reason that they should have to do so and that it is me that should be doing that. The person really felt a lot closer and really opened up to me the rest of the session. Very draining but very rewarding! Such as my life and I wouldn't change a thing about my career choice.

I'm chatting with some friends right now as I write this as well as commenting on blogs. I guess I'm in the mood for chit chat tonight. So if you are on right now IM me, the more the merrier I say! LOL
Nothing much on TV tonight, which is to say there aren't any reality shows that are on right now. Tomorrow is Survivor and the finale is Sunday night. Then what am I gonna do?!!! I guess the Bachelor and Idol aren't too far in the offing. I need another Big Brother to make it all worth while . . . and Lost will be starting up in January as well. Hooray!

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a nice Monday. Mine was ok but I have this awful headache which stems from my recurring neck problems from the car accident I had earlier this year. I don't think I'll ever get over it and it is something I will just have to cope with. I try not to complain about but some days it just gets pretty bad like it is right now.

Nothing much exciting happened at work today. Rene told me about some rude customer in the store yesterday who got mad because they were out of a certain Christmas fixture. I guess she raised holy hell and made a scene about it. They ended up giving her ten percent off something else but she was still a bit bitchy about it. Merry Christmas to her right?
The finale of the Amazing Race was last night and I was delighted to see Nick and Starr win the $1,000.000! I didn't care much for her at first but the more time went on I found myself rooting for her. She is a beautiful and I'm betting sweet girl. Survivor ends this next Sunday. I can't believe that is over already. I hope either Sugar or Bob end up winning.

Hi Everyone! It's been a long busy week but the weekend is finally here? Hope you all have exciting plans or at least a relaxing couple of days ahead.

I wanted to thank all of you that went by our other journal and were kind to Valerie. It took a lot for her to tell everyone what she has been through over the past year and she told me to thank you all. She says she feels free from the emotional pain that was placed upon her. If you haven't had a chance to read her entry please do. Val and Ally's Collaberation It has pretty much turned into Valerie's journal and that was mostly my plan from the start. Shhhh, don't tell her ok? Hehe

Me and Valerie will be going on out to the Rose Bowl tomorrow to watch USC, as Val would say "humiliate", UCLA. Sorry Michelle, but you know your Bruins aren't very good this year. Speaking of Michelle, she is doing ok after her separation. She is sad and her main focus is on her children and I just wanted to let her know that I love her very much and I plan on coming for a visit sometime soon hopefully.

Talked to Carrie on the phone today and she is doing well. She is really starting to love being in Washington, she never had too much of a chance to with all that she went through earlier this year. All she used to say was it was always rainy, dreary and cold. But now she is liking it, but of course she misses her little sis.

Turkey Day Weekend Winds Down

Hi Everyone! I hope that you have all had sensational weekends so far. This is the end and then it is back to our normal weekly duties tomorrow.

I just got back from dropping Carrie and Dan off at the airport for their trip home. I get so emotional, I sat there with tears running down my face, Carrie just smiled at me and wiped one of those tears off in such a sweet sisterly way. Where is she now that I am doing it again? LOL Luckily it will be a few more weeks and they will be back here for Christmas, I can't wait for that.

Looks like Rene's family will make it up here for Christmas as well and I know he is very happy about that. Valerie had a great time on Thanksgiving with us and boy can that chick eat. I don't think we had any turkey left after she got through, of course she had a lot of help too. LOL She was very happy that her Cowboys and Longhorns won. We will see today if her Texas team will get to play in the Big 12 championship game. USC beat Notre Dame last night, Yea!!! All they have to do is beat UCLA, those stinkers, sorry Michelle, next week and the Rose Bowl is there's again. I hope that happens cause I will get to go.

Today, it is rest and relaxation day. Valerie may come over later. We spent the majority of the day together yesterday going out shopping and then coming back here to watch some of the football games. You should see the way the guys oogle over her when she walks by. That girl sure has it goin' on!

Great friends, great career, great online friends, and not least my wonderful family. I cannot wait until tomorrow night when I go to the airport to pick up my Sister and Brother in Law. I am chomping at the bit to see Carrie. Can't you tell?

I did get some kinda not so good news from a family member today. My cousin Michelle. She broke up with her husband, well, kinda kicked him out of the house because of something he was doing, and it wasn't cheating. No one in their right mind would cheat on her because she is so sweet and beautiful. I don't want to go into details as to why, but could you all keep her and her two children in your thoughts and prayers. She told me she was thinking about coming back home to California. Only time will tell if that happens. I feel so bad for her and the kids, especially with the holidays coming, but there was no reason for her to put off what she had to do because of that. I support her decision 100 percent. I love you Michelle. xoxoxo

I just chatted with Valerie a couple of minutes ago. She seems a little down because this will be the first Thanksgiving she has ever spent without her family. I will do my best to make sure she is well taken care of and that she will feel plenty of love on Thursday. Rene is missing his parents as well. They moved back to Mexico a couple of years ago. He wants us to go their for Christmas. Maybe we can go for a couple of days, but I guess that is one thing that I am selfish about, spending time with my family that time of year. I'm trying to get him to get them to come here. Would be delightful if that happened.
I wanted to congratulate Carrie Underwood for winning an AMA on Sunday for the best Country Album. She is so darn talented and beautiful. Way to go Carrie. I guess you can see there are two Carries in my life. LOL
I saw on myspace my friend Brandi was touting that her gas was really really cheap in Houston. It is still over $2 a gallon here. I hate you Brandi . . .LOL . ..Jk of course. Gas prices sure have come down, I don't mean to be pessimistic, cause that is not in my nature, but aren't you like me, just waiting for the other shoe to drop and for those prices to just shoot up ridiculously again? Someone on CNBC the other morning had a good idea, he said with all the profits the oil companies are having maybe they should pitch in and help bail out the auto industry here in the U.S. I thought that made a lot of sense since both of those industries go hand in hand with one another.

Much to Say and Thank You

Hi Everyone! How are you this fine Saturday? I hope well and having fun and possibly not reading this until after your fun is over with.

Nothing truly exciting has happened this week. Just your average, typical, run of the mill weeks. No USC football this week, they will be taking on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish next week and I will be there!! I am rooting for Arizona to knock off those pesky Beavers from Oregon St. today so we will have the inside track to the Rose Bowl.

Rene is busy working already today. Between work, class, and studying, that man is so very busy, puts me to shame. I have the sense that I am a lazy bones next to him these days. I'm proud of him trying to better himself and I think he is proud of himself as well.

My sister Carrie will be down this week for Thanksgiving and again on Christmas. I can't wait to see her. It seems like forever since I have seen her. She is doing pretty well these days having a normal life after what she went through physically at the end of last year. I just can't wait to hug her, I do so miss spending time with her. You take for granted all the times you have when you are young, when you see one another every day, but when life changes, and that happens a lot as I have found out, one becomes so much more sentimental of the past and you want to make every second in the present one that counts more than the last. I'm getting teary eyed thinking of what might have happened and so very thankful that it didn't and that I will get to see her in just a few short days.

Valerie will be coming with us to enjoy Thanksgiving with my family since she won't be going to Texas to see hers. She is bummed about that and misses her family very much. She will get to see them on Christmas, but this is the longest she has been away from her mom and dad in her life. She is such a sweet person.
Last, but certainly not least, I wanted to thank Terri at Memories and Sweet Serenity for passing along an award to me. She is so sweet and sincere and if you haven't been on over to her blog then by all means please do so. It is very nice to be recognized for just being yourself. When someone sees you the way that you work hard at being, then you know you are doing something right in life. Just wanted to stop by and say thank you for worrying about me, but I was in no way near the fires to the extent that I was in any danger. The closest fire was about ten miles away. We did get our share of smoke but I feel really bad for all of those that lost their homes and are displaced. If you want to help in anyway I urge you to donate to the Red Cross.

I had an Ok Monday. I had a couple cancellations so I had time to do some extra reading and a few topics that pertain to a couple of my clients so that was good. I never seem to get enough time in the day to put in some extra studying.

Rene is still working his job, but he did start schooling but is going to take it slow. His work offered him more money to stay on and they want to groom him to be a store general manager. So he is conflicted, he does love the home improvement business. I think he is really good when it comes to people and customers. I thought I was too, but it can bet very tedious and some people just go out of their way to try to make you miserable. I am so much more happy doing what I am doing now.

Well everyone, that is about all I have for tonight. Hope you will all have very happy weeks and if you haven't already done so shoot Donna Ds Designs and Other Things a get well message and tell her that she is missed. Fires Here in So Cal

Hi everyone. Hope you are having a happy weekend so far. It isn't such a happy one here in Southern California with all of the fires going on. The Sylmar fire really isn't too far from here. Over 600 homes have been lost, and they just said that this fire is being treated as a crime scene which would indicate arson. The Santa Ana winds are now supposed to last until tomorrow sometime.
There are also fires in Corona, Yorba Linda, and that one up near Santa Barbara as well. It is so sad to see all of this devestation and made even worse when some criminal decides he want for people to suffer. If someone were to die at this fire, God forbid, it would be treated as murder for the person or persons that may have set it.
Watching the TV right now and it is so very sad. People talking about losing their homes, I can't even imagine how that feels and I hope I never do. There are many evacuations, road closures, rolling blackouts and power outages, and 75 mile per hour winds have taken its toll in the LA area.

Anyway, please pray for these people, they need it and I hope you all have a good weekend. Luv ya! TTFN

Hi everyone! Hope you had a good weekend and a Happy Monday as well.

As you know I hoped Val get moved into her new apartment in Glendale and she is happy as heck. That chick had a grin from ear to ear all weekend. She is such a joy to be around. I do want to say it was very sad to see that a mutual friend of ours decided to leave some not so nice comments on our blogs and on myspace. Jealousy can be a very bad thing and I hope that you will get over it soon so we can all be happy friends again. I'd hate for you to think that I have forgotten you and that my friendship with Val has anything to do with ours that is negative. You know I love you and always will and I hope that we can talk soon.

It was a bit of a hectic day at work today. Scheduling miscues and a comedy of errors led to mass confusion, well maybe not mass confusion but you know what I mean. Once you upset the apple cart the rest can fall like dominos. At first the little things started getting to me and frustration set in but after a while I figured that it was well beyond my control and just chilled as best as I could. Now I just look on the day as one in many that I will live and a short while from now it won't mean anything. I guess that is the best way to view life, 100 years from now no one will know the difference of our daily lives, so live today as best you can and enjoy it likewise.

I'm sure chatty tonight for some reason. I heard about a friend of mine I met over the internet wasn't doing so well and she has had health problems that don't seem to be getting better and they are very serious. Would you all be so kind to keep her in your prayers . . . she lives in Kansas City, MO. Thank you so much.

This was a comment in my last entry, a strange time for a comment like this but I'd like to address it.

No disrespect intended... and we are all certainly entitled to our own personal thoughts and opinions, myself included.After you get a bit older, smarter and experienced, you can pretty much accurately 'guess' how and why people think the way they do.You are under age 30, live in CA, highly educated and prob. in a very Liberal school... NO WONDER YOU ARE FOR OBAMA!! Woo Hoo! You might think that you belong to J-Land, but I KNOW that you have prob never read and studied the Bible, nor do you wish to understand. If you did you would know that sanctity and respect for the life of the unborn is much more important than our pocket books. God is against the Gay agenda and abortion and most everything else Mr. Obama stands for. Please ponder on this for a while.Have a great day.

Now I wouldn't characterize myself as too young to have opinions on things that are important. I also don't pretend that I know everything about everything. I personally am for Barrack Obama because I think he has the best chance at changing the direction this country is headed. I disagree with the McCain campaign's characterization of him as a socialist. Very interesting that he would choose to pretty much call him a communist or nazi as that is what a socialist is more generally known as. I don't believe in putting labels on people because it generally is done out of spite and desperation. If anyone has run a positive campaign this year it is Barrack Obama.

No doubt that in life I will experience new things and my opinions will change on issues over time. I don't think that my youth is a bad thing because youthful thinking is what change is all about. I'm sure there are plenty of things in the conservative side of the aisle that the founding fathers would be aghast about. With times, thinking changes, and people change. I don't think tolerance of people is ever a bad thing. I live my life by the motto "Live and let live". Who am I to tell someone else how to live or what they should do or believe. That is what God has given us, free will to decide for ourselves. He who is without sin shall cast the first stone. No person is of perfection, even Jesus being a man couldn't be 100% perfect now could he? I guess I have read the bible and maybe interpretation is the problem Mr. Commenter. You, I am assuming, are from an older generation when things weren't quite as open as they are today. No one knows exactly what God is all about and what he has intended for our futures. To read the bible and accept it verbatim without realizing that the old and new testaments were written by men long after the fact of the events taking place, and to boot, translated and retranslated over the millennia, an intelligent person would come to realize that the original texts, connotations, and context were most likely different than from today's world.

So what meant something one way then could mean something completely different now. I do believe in a higher power, I do believe in God and I do believe that the core values of the bible are God's word. To think that man didn't put his input into the bible is to think blindly. Man has a way of shaping things to make others believe the way they are thinking. So what bible are we to take verbatim anyway. The Catholics have their bible and believe that all other Christians are heathens and sinners. The Mormons have their "latter day" way of thinking. The Jews don't believe that Jesus was the Messiah. Who do we believe? Are only a select few right, or are we all mistaken?

I believe as a human being that everyone has a right to live life the way they see fit as long as it doesn't step on anyone else's. I believe as an American citizen that we all have a right to the "pursuit of happiness" and that we were all "created equal". I see nothing wrong with allowing marriages of the same sex to take place, who is that bothering? Is it something that is going to prevent a Christian from gaining his pass into Heaven? I think not. I also don't think that God would condemn me for love but would accept a repentant murderer on his death bed, do you?

As far as abortion is concerned, I am not in favor of it nor would I ever have one unless my life was in danger or the child was conceived out of criminal conduct on the part of someone who violated me. However, I don't think that I have the right to instill my beliefs onto someone else. I may not like what they are doing, but you know, we cannot ever have everything the way we would want it in life can we?

I am not a material girl. You will have to talk to Madonna if you want that. My pocket book has never been the driving force in my life. I am someone who gives of myself without expecting anything in return. That is the profession I am in and that is the way I have always believed.

I don't think belonging to J-land or Bloggerville is a bad thing. I love being here, I love my friends here, and I hope they value me in their lives. To me, love and friendship and happiness should never be taken for granted.

These issues I will ponder until the day I die.

Was going to watch the rest of World Series game five tonight, but that won't happen until tomorrow so I will probably watch something like "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" tonight. Hi everyone, and a very pleasant Sunday morning to you wherever you may be. It's been a pretty nice weekend around here. Rene has been in a very chipper mood and even brought me home this very pretty fall flower arrangement on Friday. I do love to be spoiled with flowers every once in a while. I think just about every girl likes that.

Yesterday, Valerie came over and we did a little shopping at the local mall, picked up some cute undies and Vickie's Secret. She made me watch the Texas football game yesterday, in which they squeaked by Oklahoma St, and they will still be number one in the polls which has her stoked. Last night I made her watch the USC game in which my guys held on to beat Arizona. We looked to see Heather and her dad in the stands but they didn't show too much of the USC cheering section so we didn't get a glimpse at all.

Valerie spent the night and as I write this that lazy bones is still conked out on the sofa bed. What a lazy chick she is. LOL I hate to disturb her though, she looks so pleasant, comfortable and sweet sleeping there.

Well today, supposed to head off to my mom and dad's for the weekly Nascar BBQ. I swear, I love going, don't get me wrong, but if I don't go for some reason I am made to feel so guilty. " We never get to see you!" "It isn't too much to ask for you to show your face to your mom and dad once a week is it?" I know I shouldn't fall for the guilty but what can I say, I'm human too. I do love them so very much but once in a while I would just love to veg and stay in my jammies all day doing nothing and going nowhere.

Before I end this I wanted to thank Mary, Just Mary , she is so very kind as always has nice words of encouragement. I do wish she would continue with us all here in Bloggerville out of my own selfish reasons, and I do understand why she doesn't want to continue with her blogging full time. Hi everyone! Hope you are having a good week so far. Mine has been pretty exceptional if I do say so. I have made tremendous progress with a couple clients and I feel stoked about it and I know they are feeling a whole lot better too. I guess I shouldn't take the credit since it was the clients who were the ones that were able to make break throughs with their therapy . . . but it makes me very very happy!

I had a nice weekend too. I guess I just love the fall such as it is here in California. We are once again in the midst of another Santa Ana wind event which could lead to more fires. The brush is so dry around here with not very much rain the past twelve months or so. I pray that fires don't get started but one of the fires last week was started by downed power lines from the winds. I wish they could put all those lines underground so the wind wouldn't effect them so much.

Hi everyone! Well here it is Friday again. I'm glad it is the weekend. I sure hope the weather decides to act a little Fall like soon.

Don't have anything much planned other than getting together with Valerie to do some shopping and maybe a movie. Heather will be up in Washington watching the USC game with her dad. Val's a lot of fun to spend time with . . . very sweet and she is one smart cookie.

I wanted to say that I watched the debate the other night and I have come to the conclusion that I will be voting for Barrack Obama. He seemed so calm cool and collected whereas John McCain seemed to be uptight and willing to fling personal attacks. I am so tired of all of that negativity in politics. Too many things need to be addressed and to me with all the negativity going around Washington it is a wonder that anything ever gets done.

Well, I'd better get of so I can go watch the Ghost Whisperer. I really like that show and love Jennifer Love Hewitt. If you have never seen it I recommend you doing so.

I guess I haven't been a very good girl so far, not posting any entries and all. I have been rather busy, but I know that really isn't an excuse. I will just have to get used to this new bloggerville stuff. I think we are all sorta in that boat together but I do know it will work in the long run. I do feel sorry for Donna who has been having a hell of a time trying to transfer her journal. Just don't stress over it too much.

Well, the Dodgers just bowed out of the playoffs by losing 5-1. The only run for the Dodgers was once again a home run by Manny. They better sign him for next year or I swear I'm going to punch them in the nose. LOL I'm not violent so it would be a shadow punch. : )

The weather has continued to be hot, I thought this was fall already, the winds have been blowing and the fires have started up. I feel sorry for the folks that have lost their homes and that really isn't very far from here.

Goodbye J-land

I guess this will be my last entry here. I don't know if I will continue to do a blog or not. I'm glad I made the decision to end Dear Ally a couple of days ago . . . at least that journal will go away on my terms.

It is sad, as Donna pointed out, that the powers at be knew nearly two months ago that this was going to happen and thought so lowly of us that they didn't want to let us know. I just got an email about an hour ago from AOL informing me. I found out from the many journals I visited tonight.

Looks like, as I commented on Donna's journal, that Halloween will be the end of J-land. Certainly no treat for us but only a trick. I believe that tonight was the unofficial end of J-land as we know it. Many have flocked to blogger already and Jimmy did that long ago when the ads appeared. He is a step ahead of all us newbies.

If I don't choose to move I will try and visit you all. I love the relationships and friends that I have made here and value them dearly. I suspect there will be very little new entries here from anyone from here on out . . . after all who wants to invest into something that has been given the death penalty?

I hope you will all have happy hump days tomorrow and I want to leave you with this . . . change is good sometimes. Change is bound to happen many times in your life. This won't be the first time you will be upset at someone not will it be the last. Things may not go the way we want them too but as smart human beings we learn to adapt and build on perfection and make it better. I suspect that the new J-land at Blogger or wherever else is bound to be better than here. It may take time but I think in the end you will all wonder why you didn't do it sooner and that you are even more happy and will thank AOL for giving you that little push like a momma bird to their chick. Autumn in the Air

The weather is pretty nice here. Low to mid 80's for the beginning of Autumn. I wish I could say Fall was in the air but Summer hangs on here a little longer. The last three months of the year is my favorite time of the year.

Today is a sports fans Potpourri of excitement. There is Ryder Cup golf, of course the Nascar race, many professional football games, I know Valerie will be rooting for her Cowboys tonight, and of course baseball.

I will be headed on over in a couple of hours to dad and mom's for the weekly BBQ /party. That always makes for a relaxing day. Oh yeah, the NHRA is on today, Go Ashley! Then tonight if anyone is interested the Emmy Awards will be on. Wheww! I'm tired just reporting about all of this LOL. I just got up and my cup of Joe is trying to wake me but hasn't yet.

Game Day and Prayers Going Out

Hi everyone! Today's the day of the big football game. Can't wait to be there. USC will defeat those Buckeyes for Ohio St. This is like the biggest regular season game I can remember going to. I'm so excited.

Anyway. I am also very saddened this morning. Yesterday afternoon a local Metrolink train, a passenger commuter train here in Southern California, collided head on with a freight train here in the San Fernando Valley and there have been 18 total deaths confirmed at this point, including an off duty LAPD officer.

It was really a somber scene as they brought the officer's body out and a line of fire fighters and police officers were saluting. This is the worst train disaster in Los Angeles history. My thought and prayers go out to the victims and the families.

Also, my thoughts and prayers go out to the people in Texas, specifically Galveston and Houston as Hurricane Ike came ashore last night causing lots of damage and flooding. I hope there aren't too many deaths associated with this storm.

I don't have many profound things to say on this day. This is a day of Remembrance for those souls that lost their lives to attacks seven years ago. I did not know anyone personally that died that day, but I did share the shock and the horror along with the rest of you. I had just turned 21 a month or so before this horrible day and very innocent and naive still.

Hatred can be a very strong thing, but love will always be victorious over such negative ways of thinking and action. I just wish this country had remained united like we were in the days following this horrible act.

I will never forget watching every second of coverage I could stand to see, flipping from one network to the next to find out if someone had something new to report. The uncertainty of what would or could happen next kept us all fearful and on guard for quite sometime following. Every day for months and months we had to be told that we were at an Red, Orange or Yellow state of alert. Never in my lifetime did I expect to be living in a world where people wanted to kill innocent people in a warped sense of duty.

Israel knew exactly how we felt that day. They have endured this for over half of a century. Life is precious. Life is short. Life should never be taken for granted. As we look forward to the future we can never let go of the past or we have learned nothing. History will repeat itself if we don't stay conscientious of the world around us.

The Weekend Again

Hi everyone! Well, here we are, another weekend is here. Don't have any exciting plans like last weekend or next so here I sit. LOL Not that J-land isn't exciting.

My dad's weekly Nascar bbq was postponed until tomorrow from tonight because of the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Hanna back East. They postponed the two races until tomorrow, and couple that with all the football games it will be a sports frenzy tomorrow. I am just hopin' that Kasey Kahne gets his cute little butt into the chase.

Nothing out of the ordinary happened this week. Pretty much uneventful from a working point of view. It was a short week, only four days due to the holiday last Monday. Can you believe that Thursday marks the seventh anniversary of 9/11? It seems like it was just yesterday that I was glued to my TV for days it seemed in total disbelief. This country has been through a lot since then hasn't it? I'm not going to get into politics, I don't feel like turning my happy mood into a sour one. LOL

I'm hoping to see Heather and Val today. Shopping and a movie and lunch would be nice. I don't want to be couped up all day.

Hi Everyone! Hope you all had wonderful holiday weekends. Mine was great if I do say so!

Me and my mom and dad and friend Valerie spent the weekend going to Nascar races at the Auto Club speedway in Fontana. It's about an hour or less from where I live in Burbank.

Although the race on Sunday wasn't the best we had an awesome time. Valerie had never been to a race but it seems she is won over. She says she is a Jimmie Johnson fan now after his win. I couldn't convince her that Kasey Kahne is the one she needs to love like me. LOL I think we both got a little tipsy drinking mojitos and such. We didn't take Rene this time cause he just doesn't like the races, he's a football dude. Valerie was a hit with several of the guys around us. I sure wish I had her looks, she is so cute and I think a couple of them, and they were actually nice looking men, gave her their phone numbers.

I want to send a shout out for USC clobbering Virginia on Saturday 52-7. Next up is Ohio St. on the 13th and we will all be going, me, Heather, Val, and Heather's family. Heather flew to Virginia for the game this past Saturday and she said it was so hot and humid there she almost melted completely.

The weekend was capped off by a nice family BBQ yesterday with these wonderful T-Bone steaks, corn on the cob, and some wonderful baked beans. I think I just made myself hungry again. LOL

Hi Everyone! I hope that you all had very nice weeks and are ready to have some Labor Day weekend fun!! My Mom and Dad, me and Valerie are going to go to the Nascar races tonight and tomorrow. Heather isn't going to be able to come, she is in Virginia right now at the USC vs Virginia football game. I will be watching that on TV shortly. Go Trojans!

The weather around here has been typical mid summer temps in the 90's. Good pool weather.

Some of you know that this is my second go round here in J-land. I wish I still had my original Ally's Corner but that got deleted a long time ago. I regret not saving what I wrote on there. I was remiss to recognize that on the 10th of August marked the one year anniversary of this journal. I didn't realize that it had been over a year already. Time sure flies doesn't it? I can't believe that September first is Monday.

I don't have much more to say other than please visit my Dear Ally journal and leave me some advice questions. I was really hopin' that this journal would be popular and it has been a bit of a disappointment for me to say the least. I don't want to give up on it but if no one is interested then I'm sure I eventually will.

Hi Everyone! Another week gone bye already. Where is the time going anyway? Next week is Labor Day and September! It will 2009 before you know it.

I had a pretty nice weekend. Went shopping with Heather and Val on Saturday . . . we were going to the movies but my daddy reminded me that his bbq was on Saturday night this week and to not miss it again or he'd be sad. He put the guilt trip on me good. Do any of you have dads or moms that like to make you feel guilty like me? I'm sure some of you do. So I brought Heather and Valerie over and Val was the hit of the party. She just charmed everyone. I think Heather was a little jealous . . lol JK H!

Today was a relax day by the pool. It was nice to just kick back after a hectic week and not have to worry about a thing. Tomorrow will soon be here and here we go again. I do love my job but it can be draining sometimes.

Tonight is Big Brother my favorite show. I can't wait until next weekend, College Football begins and USC plays Virginia.

Hi Everyone! I hope you all had nice weekends, I sure did. It was a Dodgers weekend for me.

We went to the game yesterday and today. The outcome last night wasn't as good as today's however. Dang if the Dodgers didn't blow a four run lead in the ninth inning only to have Andre Eithier hit a two run home run in the bottom of the ninth to win. It was very exciting and my Dodgers are in first place again.

I did miss my dad's weekly Nascar BBQ and he is trying to make me feel guilty about it. I'm a daddy's girl and I admit it but sometimes you do have to do things for yourself don't you? I do love my dad but jeez sometimes. He is pretty clingy to me sometimes.

The weather has been normal for this time of year here, warm. That is the life of living in So Cal.

Me and Rene have been watching Soprano's episodes one right after the other. They had a special a couple of weeks ago at Costco and you could buy the season's for ten dollars off so we bought like the first six. I get so addicted to watching them. I loved that show when it was on HBO and I really wish they'd make a movie . . . I'd so be there!

Hi everyone! I haven't been around, well at least in J-land for about two weeks now. Time sure flies.

I've been very busy with work and my sister Carrie and her husband Dan came to visit us this last week. It was so good to see them and she is looking really good these days after the ordeal she has been through earlier this year. She really looks to be in great shape and has most of her strength back now and his seemingly her normal jovial and frisky self which is so good to see. I miss her so much and hated to see her leave for the great Northwest once again.

Nothing too much planned for this weekend. Getting together with the mischievous Heather and the sweet and silly Valerie today to go shopping and a movie. Not sure what we will see, I am pretty sure it won't be Mama Mia but I did hear the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is a possibility. I kinda want to see that movie with Kevin Costner called Swing Vote.

Some of you have asked me about Phil and why he has discontinued his journal. Some of you have been curious and some of you have been a little concerned or worried. I'm not sure the complete reasons why he has done this but I wouldn't be surprised that at sometime in the future he will start it up again. His journal is still there, he hasn't deleted it, so that says to me that he, at the very least is taking a break. I'm sure he will be ok.

Hi Everyone. I hope you have all had nice weekends. Not much excitement happening around here. Just got home from dad's bbq and watching the Nascar race. Let me tell you, what a boring race. Tire troubles all day long. So disappointing and not much fun. If all the races were like that I'd give up watching it entirely.

Can you believe it will be August on Friday? Wow, time has sure flown by this year. Only two more months and it will be Halloween. Tomorrow is just another reminder that I'm getting old so I will forgo talking about it. LOL

I really don't have much to say at the moment. Everything is fine here, but not much excitement. I guess I need a little more of that in my life. Rene is working as usual but he will be quitting in about a month to start attending school. He is finally using his GI bill which is good. He is getting so very tired of retail and he is so intelligent that he is wasting away with it as well. He belongs in a professional career and that is what he aims to do. It will take several years and lots of hard work but he has my full support and I know he has the skill and dedication it takes.

On Myspace I am playing this silly game called Mobsters. I'm doing ok I guess but I don't have many people in my "family" and people are whacking me left and right lately. LOL Those gangsters can be so awnry and not very nice, knocking off an innocent angel like me!

Hi everyone! I hope you all had good weeks and now that the weekend is here I hope that you will be enjoying some fun!

I am going out in a little while with my friends Heather and Valerie. Along with doing our mall shopping, we are planning on going to see The Dark Knight, the latest installment of the Batman series. Heather has this gold pass that will get us in to just about any theatre for any showing of this movie or any other movie. She is so spoiled, and by me being her friend I am as well. So it should be a fun day. I'm sure we will go out to dinner. Poor Rene is working today, but he is planning on doing some guy things with his friends tonight so all is good.

The weather here hasn't been too bad. In the mid to upper eighties mostly with low clouds in the morning. I can't believe that it is July 19th already. Our anniversary is Monday and my birthday is next Sunday. Jeez, I'm getting old, this will be my last birthday celebration in my twenties.

(Update, this shows you how old I'm getting, I added an extra year to my age, I am only going to be 28 not 29, what a ditz huh? LOL)

I thought I'd stop by and say hi. It's been almost a week since I've been in this particular journal. I've been bad and neglected it.

Let's see, how has this week gone. It has been long and a bit on the warm side but that is to be expected since it is Summer. Nothing out of the ordinary has happened. My friend Heather is off for the Summer this year, she usually goes to school, but she wanted a little time out and what miss Princess wants miss Princess gets! LMAO Valerie and her have been spending a lot of time together, which is understandable since Val is staying with her since moving from Texas.

It was nice to see DeAnna so happy on Monday night as she chose Jesse of Jason to be her pick on the Bachelorette. She seems so sweet and I hope they make it work.

Hell's Kitchen came to an end on Tuesday night and Christina was chosen by Chef Ramsey as his new executive chef in his restaurant in West Hollywood called London LA. I may have to go there and check it out sometime. The big reality news coming up is that Big Brother 10 starts on Sunday night. I can't wait!! That show is my fave!!

Rene has been bugging me for a while now saying that I am so addicted to the Internet that I should make myself useful. LOL He thinks that I'd be great at giving advice to people that may want it. I really do like DeAnna and hope she finds what she is looking for.

Hi Everyone! I hope you have had a happy weekend so far. I've had a pretty good one. Today is relaxing day and of course BBQ day at Mom and Daddy's!

Friday night me and Rene went to dinner at Black Angus and we went to see the movie "Get Smart". It was pretty good. It was slow starting but it was ok, not great, but fun. I will say that Anne Hathaway is a really pretty girl and I sure wish that I had her legs!

Yesterday went over to Heather's and went swimming with her family and Valerie. They have such a beautiful pool and hot tub. You never want to leave or get out. The weather has been so fricken hot here the past several days. It is supposed to start cooling a bit today. Summer is here!

I wanted to pass my condolences to the people in the NHRA community who lost Scott Kalitta yesterday in a horrendous crash in New Jersey. It was fiery and ending in a big wreck at the end of the drag strip. They will race today with heavy hearts.

I Think I'm Back to Normal

I think I'm getting back to my old self. It has taken me longer than I would have ever anticipated. The end of last week hit me with such ferocity and unexpectedness that I guess I was ill equipped to deal with my own feelings and emotions. I guess it is way easier for me to help others than to help myself when something not so good happens.

I think my friend Deb really helped today with getting me out of the duldrums. She sent me such a sweet, caring and wonderful email that it just hit the right spot at exactly the right time. She told me how much light I had inside of me, how I do so much to make her feel better when she isn't feeling so great. I guess that I just realize that I have so much more to offer than sitting her moping around. It took a little longer than it should have but here I am, feeling much better and more like me.

Thank you all for your concern, I truly from the bottom of my heart appreciate each and everyone of you that I consider my friend. I hope you will all have a happy tomorrow, which just so happens to be Friday the 13th. Don't walk under any ladders or allow a black cat to cross your paths. LOL Luv ya! TTFN

One of the clients I really liked committed suicide. I just saw her on Wednesday and she didn't seem to be any different than she always has. She has had bouts of depression in the past. I feel like there should have been something I could have done to have prevented it and I feel a lot guilty right now. Maybe I'm not cut out for this kind of work.

I want to acknowledge my friend Jimmy for picking me as one of his editor's picks this week. I have had two in two weeks and I feel special here in J-land.

Kasey Kahne won the Nascar race today and that made me a little bit happy. Usually I'd be ecstatic about that but I am just not feeling it at the moment. I really wish I could reset the hands of time and go back to Wednesday and change the outcome of the events for the rest of the week. I'm sorry if I'm a downer today so I will just leave this entry at that.

Hi everyone! Hope you all had very good weeks. Mine was pretty decent and being that it was only four days made it even better.

I wanted to thank Hadon The Hadonfield Myers Experience for making me one of his picks with his Guest Editor duties. He flatters me and he is such a super person to think so highly of me and the others that he picked as well.

I don't have much planned for the weekend. Just gonna hang and relax. I'm currently watching the Women's College World Series game between Arizona and Alabama. It just started. I really love to watch Taryne Mowatt of Arizona pitch. The have won back to back championships and are going for three in a row this year. They have to win this game to stay alive. I hope they do it, I'm rooting for her. Funny, I went to SC, they didn't make it here or even close, and my Cousin Michelle went to UCLA, who is in the series as well, but here I am rooting for another Pac 10 school to win. LOL Go figure! Taryne has a myspace page as well and I have her as a friend. Check it out if you have myspace.

I'm listening to Bob Marley right now. He was pretty good! My friend Valerie turned me on to him. I am mostly a country music chick but this Reggae stuff isn't half bad if I do say so myself.

Guess what? My husband Rene is getting sick of his current line of work and I've been trying to get him to go to school. He still hasn't used his GI bill. He has had this desire to get into the legal field for a long time now. So looks like he will start doing some courses soon. It may take him a while to complete it while working but he is pretty dedicated in everything he sets his mind to. I will support him in anything he wants to do.

I had a pretty good weekend. Dancing and BBQ's, more dancing and more eating. I must weigh ten more pounds than I did Friday. Instead of Smurfette they will be calling me Miss Piggy from now on.

This will be a short entry because I am going to put on the Bachelorette in about four minutes. Can't wait to see what happens with DeAnna and the guys tonight.

Hi everyone! I hope your weekend is going good for you so far. I just love extended holiday weekends like this. Not that I have anything spectacular planned, because the darn gas prices are over $4 a gallon here. The weather has been a bit odd around here with some severe weather with hail and tornadoes about an hour East of here and we have had some rain as well.

I have been coaxed to go with Heather and Valerie to dinner and clubbing once again tonight. Let me tell you, if I have anything I like less than clubbing I couldn't be able to remember what it is. It's not that I'm not a good dancer, cause I think I'm pretty sleek and cute on the dance floor, but it is those people that always seem to hit on you with ridiculous pick up lines like "are you from Tennessee, because you are the only ten I see". But even worse, when a guy, and sometimes even a chick, hits on you and they don't take no for an answer. I even had a guy once get mad because I rejected his free drink he sent over. I told him I was married and he gave me an earful saying "the least you skanks can do is accept a drink . . . it isn't like I want to F*** you are something". Which of course is what he really wanted probably.

I don't know, I am a glutton for my friends. I will go and have fun, we did last week, but tonight is a different night. Please pray for me that I will survive the jungle! LOL

Tomorrow ought to be fun with my dad's weekly BBQ which will be an all day event with lot of people there because there isn't just a Nascar race tomorrow, don't you know, but there is the Indy 500 and hopefully Danica will take it. Hi everyone. It is still fricken hot here even at 7 o'clock in the evening. Summer has come much too early. What the heck happened to Spring anyway.

I'm watching the end of the NHRA event from Bristol, TN and the finals of the funny car are coming up soon with Melanie Troxel against Mike Neff. I so do hope that Melanie wins and becomes the second woman to win a Funny Car race. Ashley Force, my fave, won a few weeks ago and she was the first.

Wouldn't you know, last night I went clubbing with the girls, Heather and Valerie, which is not my favorite thing to do because there are so many jerky guys that act like complete imbeciles at the mere sight of us women. Luckily they were pretty much behaved last night and we had a very fun time. But of course, while I was there, I missed the Nascar All-star race and my driver, Kasey Kahne, won it. He hasn't won in a long time and I missed it. At least I dvr'd it and was able to see it this morning. Way to go my sexy babe Kasey!!!!!

Oh yeah, Melanie Troxel just won. Woman are ready to conquer the racing world. I think all you ladies need to start watching NHRA racing and root for the women!

OK everyone, it is fricken hot here. Who said that it is allowed to be summer already? I'm absolutely melting. It is supposed to be 100 degrees today. I am seriously contemplating putting on my swim suit and heading for the pool. Anyone want to join me?

It's been a busy and of course sweltering week around here. Work work work was the theme of the week. Now it is relaxation time with the AC running already. I'm not an extreme temperature girl. I don't really like it too cold nor do I like it too hot, I like my porridge just right! LOL

I am having Heather and of course our new buddy Valerie over later and maybe we will go out shopping and lunch and dinner. They should be here in about an hour with their swim suits. The pool is first!!!

Hi everyone. I started my weekend a little early today and kind of played hooky. Well, my schedule was pretty much clear so no one cared if I did a half day.

I got together with Heather and her friend, my new friend, Valerie, who is out here visiting from Texas. She is going to move here. Heather's Dad has found her a great job in his business which will undoubtedly lead to many great opportunities in the future.

I wanted to to give a shout out to my dear friend Deb who had to have a pin put into her foot. She broke her ankle a couple of weeks ago and I know it is hurting something awful. If you could pray for her to heal fast and strong I surely do appreciate.

Anyway, we decided to take in a movie this afternoon. We went out and saw that new film with Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz "What Happens in Vegas". I didn't know exactly what to expect but knew there would be a few laughs and maybe a little chick flick mixed in. Although it wasn't the greatest movie ever made I feel I got my money's worth. We enjoyed it and had a fun time.

I don't know if I ever told you but once, when my sister was out with some friends several years ago at a club, she ran into Ashton, this was before he was with Demi Moore, and he hit on her. I think he is a cutie, but Carrie wasn't all that impressed and his advances didn't lead to anything.

Hi Everyone. I hadn't realized it has been so long since I updated here. I guess I've been spending a little more of my time on Myspace.

Nothing much new going on around here. It's Thursday and I just got done watching Survivor. I loved how that show ended tonight. LOL Amanda bamboozled them all into thinking she didn't have the hidden immunitiy idol and four of them voted her off. So they were pretty shocked when she produced it and the second most votes, basiclly the person that Amanda and Parvatti voted for would be the one to be voted from the tribe and that turned out to be Alexis. She was shocked and the jury was laughing. James had to leave due to medical issues with an infection in his finger which could spread to his hand.

If you aren't into reality shows like me then I am sorry this is probably boring you . . . and if you are into them and have a myspace page I have a group set up for Reality show junkies like me in which a couple people have joined but haven't left any comments or posts yet. :*(

I was sad to see Brooke be booted from American Idol last night. I do like that chick. She seems so sweet. Jason, Mr. Dreadlocks, who had a poor performance on Tuesday was spared the guillotine for now.

It was asking whether or not there was still a preexisting relationship still remaining in the house and the answer was yes. The consider the Guinea pigs as a relationship. Come on guys, stupid stuff like that just messes up the game. Desperate Housewives is also on tonight so I will be checking that out as well.

I did just say that as a silly thing to say but many of you were so kind as to say that I could never wear out my welcome and I really appreciate that you care that much about me to say that. I do want to give you all an update on my sister. She is doing really well, I spoke to her on the phone this morning and she seems like her old self. She was giving her little sister the business and ragging on me and that makes me so happy. She is working and regaining her strength and putting back the weight she lost during chemo. So much good news that I really rejoice in it.

Hi everyone. I hope you all had wonderful weeks and that your weekends are fun filled, relaxing and full of love.

I don't have much planned at all. Hopefully my friend Heather will come over this afternoon. She is awfully busy these days. Her schooling and social engagements do take a lot of her time.

Rene is at work right now. He has been doing a couple of day shifts the past couple of days. They got rid of one of the assistant managers, and he has been covering extra shifts while they hunt down a replacement. Sometimes the turnover in retail can be too much. I'm glad I have a weekday job and security.

My Ducks won last night against the Dallas Stars. They had to or they would have been eliminated. They will have to win the next two games to make it out of this series. The Lakers start their quest for an NBA championship tomorrow and my Dodgers are in Atlanta looking awful as usual LOL. Bring on USC football please!!!!

I was so happy on Big Brother Wednesday when they got smart and evicted Natalie from the house. I was getting so tired of her. I was disappointed that Kristy Lee Cook was voted off American Idol, though I do think she has a bright future in country music. Time will tell on that.

I'll be glad when that Pennsylvania primary comes and goes on Tuesday. I have been a Hillary Clinton supporter all along and hope she wins but I am resigning myself to the fact that Obama does seem to have the momentum and the inside track to the nomination. I won't necessarily transfer my vote to him in November however. I will weigh the candidates strengths and weaknesses and come up with a logical way for me to cast my ballot.

Hi Everyone! How was your weekend? Mine was somewhat of a whirlwind. It wasn't all that I would have wanted but it was super to say the least.

Heather called me up early on Friday morning and asked if Rene and I would be available to go to Santa Barbara and spend a couple of days at a fantastic resort hotel on the beach and be pampered. Now how could I pass up on that. I had no plans at all and that sounded so exciting. I called Rene up and he was all for it. He finally got a whole weekend off. So I called Heather back and told her we were in. Heather's Dad and Mom had planned a weekend jaunt there but as luck had it her Dad got called out of town on business so they had this wonderful cottage room available with no one going to be there and it was already paid for.

So after work I rushed home and packed some stuff for the weekend and Rene came home around 6 o'clock. We headed for Heather's and picked her up on the way up the coast. I have to tell you that the weather was so warm and beautiful this weekend and the visibility on the coast was so clear you could see the channel islands in great detail like you could reach out and touch them.

We were pampered with massages in the spa and I even did a little laying out at the pool with Heather while Rene was out on the beach. He does like the beach a lot and that is something he has in common with my sister. We had some wonderful meals. We had Italian food Saturday night at this place called Palazzio in Montecito. Montecito is one of the rich areas where stars have homes. We also made our way to State St. and went bar hopping a little but it got kinda rowdy with all the college students from USCB around so we headed back to the seclusion of our hotel on the beach. This hotel, the Biltmore, was built in 1927 and has been frequented by many stars and such throughout the years.

We had so much fun and relaxation I almost didn't come back to the Valley for the work week. LOL But here I am all rested and had a good day nonetheless today. Hope you all had wonderful weekends and started your work weeks off with positive days. Be happy and enjoy your tomorrow. Luv ya! TTFN

Did anyone watch the American Idol Gives Back last night. I thought it was an amazing show and that isn't a word I use loosely. Of course, Carrie Underwood's song was so very touching and wonderful and didn't she look absolutely breathtaking. I just love that chick's voice and her pure beauty. Tonight it is back to business and someone is going to get kicked off the show. Carly hasn't much impressed me lately but I really think that Kristy Lee Cook stepped up to the plate Tuesday night and hit a home run. I think whether or not she wins this competition she has a future in country music especially since Kelly Pickler has done well and she doesn't have half as good a voice.

Well James finally got evicted from the Big Brother house last night. Of course they had to go and do one of those long drawn out processes to determine who will be the next head of household in which I will not find out who it will be until Sunday night . . . well that is of course unless one of you has the live feed and wants to tell me. That would be mighty nice of you. I wish Natalie would get booted from the house. I really relate to Sharon. She is so giving and caring and you can't help from liking who and what she is. She is the only one that hasn't sat there and lied through their teeth and played shenanigans.

Hi everyone. It's been pretty much a relaxing weekend for me. Didn't have any plans and as it turned out that was good since I needed a lot of rest. I've been under the weather a bit the past several days and these two days have helped me a great deal.

Went to mom and dad's for their weekly Nascar bbq. My driver Kasey Kahne once again did not win. Carl Edwards won for the third time this year. I'm sitting here at home now watching a documentary on the History Channel about Martin Luther King Jr. who was assassinated 40 years ago this week. So sad that hatred has ruled the day for so long in this country and in the world as a whole. Everyone should be treated as equals whether they be white, black, latino, asian or male or female. I could never understand why people look at others differently just because they may be different than them. No one is the same and everyone is different than the next person no matter what.

It does look to me that the election for nominee for President on the Democratic side is going to end up being Barrack Obama. I didn't vote for him in our primary but I do have an open mind towards the future. I cannot say whether I would vote for him or John McCain in November because I want to know that I am making the best decision with my vote. One thing is for sure I will not waste my vote on Ralph Nader.

So I have gone from racing to racism to politics all in a few paragraphs here. LOL I always knew I was talented. JK So I guess I ought to end this rambling now before I can't stop myself. Hehe I hope you will all have a fantastic and happy week! Luv ya! TTFN

Hi everyone! I'm sitting here on my computer early today. This girl is a bit on the sick side today. I've been laying around all afternoon and I am already tired of that. I've got this headache going through the right side of my head and through my eye ball.

I feel guilty for leaving work early today, but I wasn't doing anyone any good by being there. I don't know why I am telling you all of this anyway. I'm just typing random thoughts here so bear with me.

I wanted to give everyone an update on my sister. She has returned to work, although she is very exhausted at the end of the day she says it is a good tired. She said that she was sick and tired of being sick and tired. She has regained a lot of strength and her appetite is coming back to her. She sounds a lot happier and she is even talking to me about being a little naughty with Dan her husband. That makes me feel so good that she is doing so much better. I have been so worried about her.

My Weekend

Hi everyone! Well it was a wonderful weekend for me. I hope you all had one as well.

Heather took me to the BMW dealer that a friend of her dad owns. He showed me the model 328i that I was interested in. We took it for a test drive and of course I just fell in love with it. I'm not one to be enamored over a car but this just seemed to fit me perfectly for some reason. So I ended up purchasing it at their cost which was a good savings for me. It is silver in color. Heather and her family always seem to go out of their way to help me and make things and life a bit easier and many times more fun for me. Rene thinks it is a cool car but now he wants a new truck since I have a new car. Boys always have to one up us women huh? LOL

Then Heather drove me and Rene down to Anaheim for the George Strait concert. That man sure can sing. I just love his music. He was in the round, which means the stage is in the dead center of the arena, and our seats were very nice indeed. I'd say we were probably around fifty feet from the stage. We all enjoyed ourselves immensely. I recommend seeing him if he ever comes to your area.

I went out looking at cars tonight with Heather. She has been urging me to get a BMW. Where as I cannot afford the model that Heather has, there is a model or two that is affordable for me and I think that I am now leaning towards getting one. Here is a link to the model I may be getting.

My Uncle Phil will be going to a baseball game tomorrow night and I would have loved to go but I am going to a concert. I heard on the news tonight that at that baseball game they are expecting 115,000 fans. That is so incredible. I heard the record for a baseball game is 93,000 and the record for a game in any sport was a USC game against Notre Dame in 1929 at Soldier Field in Chicago and there were 112,000 for that. Hi everyone! Hope you are all having satisfying week so far and tomorrow is Friday!! Yippee! This should be a very fun and exciting weekend for me.

First of all, I appreciate those of you who gave me some input on cars. Lisa, I just don't want a hybrid car right now so I am not considering the Prius. Katie, I had thought about a Volvo, they are pretty safe cars. I have looked at a Nissan Sentra Michele, but I have decided against getting one. I guess I have sold myself on a Volkswagon Passat probably. That car just seems to fit me or is a perfect fir for me. So tomorrow we will be going out and probably purchasing one.

Then tomorrow night me and Rene and Heather will be going to a concert at Honda Center in Anaheim. We were just there a couple of weeks ago for Carrie Underwood and this time we are going to see George Strait. I have always wanted to see him so I am really looking forward to that. My old car was a Honda Civic and I liked it but I want something different now. My friend Heather wants me to get a BMW but there is no way I can afford that. Hi Everyone! I hope you had a wonderful day today, mine was pretty good. I find myself in a very happy mood tonight and there really isn't any specific reason for it. Just happy!

I did finally get the situation with my car resolved with the insurance company of the woman that hit me from behind a little while back as you may recall. They are finally cutting me a check so I can go get myself a new car. My little Civic was totaled. They are also going to pay me a certain amount of money to cover my medical bills and a little for the pain and suffering. I do still have stiffness and soreness from time to time in my neck and upper back between my shoulder blades but the doctor has assured me that there is no damage in there because the x-rays I took were all negative.

I'm so happy that my boys, the USC Trojans, are in the NCAA Basketball tournament which started today. This is the second year in a row and with OJ Mayo our star player, who knows, maybe we can make it at least to the final four. My cousin Michelle just laughed at me and said they had no chance. She graduating from the enemy, UCLA and she says that this year her Bruins won't be denied. We'll see! And darn it, I am watching the end of the USC game and they have tanked it. One and done for my boys. So I guess Michelle will get the better of me this time! LOL

Anyway, I hope you will all have a very nice Good Friday tomorrow. All of you that are Christian I hope you will take a moment to reflect upon what that day means and the significant sacrifice Jesus made for us. Luv ya! TTFN

Hmmm. A question from my last entry I think I should address.

I was asked if Rene completes my life then why would I need a third wheel like Heather?

I have to say that I hardly consider my friend Heather a third wheel, whether it be in romance or anything else. I can say that my life was a long way from being complete some three or four years ago. At that point I was working in a bank at a job that wasn't fulfilling and I had a boyfriend at the time that turned out to be a cheater. In fact, I walked in on him with his new found love in our bed. That ended our relationship on the spot. Believe me, that was absolutely no fun and it really pained me to the core inside and emotionally I was pretty much a wreck, though I tried hard on the outside to pretend that I was unaffected.

Since then, I was reunited with Rene after several years of not seeing him. He enlisted and was in Iraq for a time. We had grown apart and I really don't know why. Rene was my first love going back to Junior High School. He was the first man I had ever made love to. Then, somehow, we drifted apart by the end of our Senior year in High school. I really did miss him and there was an emptiness inside.

I didn't have a whole lot of friends in those days either. That brings me to Heather. I met her a few years ago when I decided to go back to college and complete my education so I could get myself into a career I found fulfilling and something that I felt I could make a difference in. We hit it off from day one. We did so many things together. I never had a friend like her before and I am pretty sure that she had never known friendship like I was showing her either. So I guess you can say we were joined at the hip for a while then.

Our relationship has grown through the years and has gotten closer and closer while I had a relationship renaissance with Rene. I don't throw my true friends under the bus for anything and Rene was aware of that. What I hadn't expected was that I would end up having a physical relationship with Heather along with the closeness true friendship brings. I have kind of stated this in the past so I am going to come right out and say it now. I now consider myself bisexual. Rene is aware of this and we have been able to work through this and even incorporate it into our lives. I think at this point I would be lost without either of them in my life. They both complete me. They both help to shape who and what I am today, as well as keep my grounded. I love them both on so many levels.

Romance comes in many shapes and forms. I guess you can say that I like my cake and I eat it too. I'm not asking for anyone to morally agree with my lifestyle. You either accept an individual for who they are or you don't. I have a belief of live and let live. I never try to be judgmental about anyone and their situation. I choose to make LOVE my primary life's goal. Love, happiness, faith, friendship, being positive, smiling and just going with the flow has been my life for several years now.

I have grown, learned about who and what I am, and have accepted it. I hope that all of you understand that and like me for who I am. I do care about all of you that choose to come here and read what I have to say and leave comments. I read them all, and I appreciate each and everyone of them and you for taking the time out of your day, and to care enough to be here with your heart and to grace my life with your presence.

Ok, I think I won't go on and on. I do hope that this answers the question and that maybe all of you know me a little better now. I hope you will all have the most enjoyable of weekends and always keep a smile on your face because it is infectious.

Last Night and Beyond

Hi Everyone! Oh man, I had such a blast last night even though I didn't have much time to make myself pretty. It was like, Rene walked in the door, showed me the tickets, I finished my entry in haste, signed off put on some clothes and out the door we went. I probably looked hideous but I hardly cared I was so excited.

Did I ever tell you that Carrie Underwood is my fav? LOL And Keith Urban is so dreamy! Carrie came out and sang her new number one single All American Girl. Of course she sang all of her hits as well. But the highlight of my evening was when Keith Urban sang "Memories of Us". That is our song! It means so much to me and Rene. He leaned over and gave me a passionate kiss and told me he would marry me all over again without hesitation. Awww. I felt so special.

He surprises me from time to time with things he knows I will go crazy over. I have to say he makes my life complete. Of course I rewarded him after we got home last night! I showed him how much I loved him.

Today was an ok day. Fridays are usually less stressful since we don't have as many appointments as a rule. Here it is Friday evening and Heather will be coming over soon and spending the night. I haven't seen that chick in a couple of weeks. Tomorrow is shop til we drop day! LOL Not really, but going shopping with her is fun. It's just fun to hang with her doing whatever.

Hi everyone! Hope you are having a good week so far. Well if you haven't had one, don't despair, tomorrow is Friday, yippee!

It's been a tiring week emotionally. Some of my clients have had breakthroughs but getting there we have had to endure much pain and sorrow and that can be draining. I always try to remain positive, that is my mantra in life.

Do you have anything exciting planned for the weekend? I am just planning on seeing my friend Heather and doing some shopping on Saturday and otherwise hanging out with her.

OMG! You will never guess what just happened. Rene just came home early from work and he had a surprise for me. I tell you, this man loves me so much! He is taking me out tonight. We are going to go to Anaheim for a concert . . . Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban! I can't believe it. It has been sold out for a long time now. Reality TV and New Friend

Hi everyone! I thought I'd check in now that I have a moment or two. I am just finishing watching the American Idol results show. I wish they had gotten rid of Amanda. There is something about that chick I just don't get. The person that did get voted off I think was a good choice. David Hernandez was deserving of not coming back. He had a weak performance and so did Kristie Cook and she had better step it up. I do like her but she needs to find a song that suits her and get the audience going. She is lovely, has a nice voice, but has not found her niche so far.

Big Brother was interesting tonight. The person they voted out of the house they turned right around and voted back into the show. James was very happy to be reunited with his newly found love Chelsia. I must say that I'm not a great James fan but he makes her happy that is for sure. I think Chelsia is sweet and she is very pretty. We won't know who the new HOH is until Sunday, well, that is of course unless you have the live feed.

Anyway, I wanted to say hi to my new friend Deb who I wonder if she will even see this shout out to her. If you are reading this I want you to know that you are such a cool person that is very sweet and special and I am glad that I have gotten to know you.

Home Again

Just got back from my trip a little earlier. Glad to get off the plane. I like going places, if only I could bypass the airport everything would be marvelous. And to make things worse is that I get one hour less of my much need beauty sleep tonight! Gotta spring forward with all the other daylight savers.

I had a decent time seeing my sister. I think maybe she is glad to see me go . . . not really, but I think I was too much the mother hen. At the beginning of the week she was pretty weak and tired. Carrie finished her last chemo treatment on Monday and by the end of the weak she was feeling much better. She was doing a lot of smiling like I am accustomed to. I am once again relegated to being some 1500 miles away from her once again which saddens me. I do believe she will be ready to go back to work soon. She is getting stir crazy being indoors and at home. We did go out to a mall and did a little shopping yesterday. I think that invigorated her. She was sad to send me home today. I hope I will see her again soon, I have tears in my eyes right now just thinking about not being there. I'm too emotional sometimes.

I'm getting a bit tired so I think I will get my butt off of this thing, but not before I give you another wonderful survey! Have a happy Sunday everyone. Luv ya! TTFN

Tuesday Afternoon

Hi everyone. I'm here in Washington. The flight was pretty uneventful, well that is excluding the screaming baby four rows back from me. That did kinda get on my nerves. Flying really isn't my favorite thing to do. I Got here safe and sound on Saturday and Dan, Carrie's husband, picked me up at the airport. The weather is a bit on the cool side for this Cali girl but I will cope. I guess the weather this week here is considered good and will be sunny and 59 later this week. Not bad.

It is so nice to be able to be here with my sister. Carrie was so happy to see me as I was to see her. She really doesn't have too much strength right now. Thank goodness that Monday was her last chemo treatment. I went with her so I could see what she went through. It doesn't look like too much fun at all to say the least. Then she was at home throwing up and I felt so helpless to do anything to help her. She has been sleeping a lot and her energy level is very low right now, which is so out of the ordinary for her. She is so outgoing but right now she is almost a recluse. She doesn't want to come out of the house for anything. She feels so down right now, but hopefully things will start looking up now that the chemo is done. She misses her teaching job so much.

Right now she is in sleeping so I have a moment to do this. The Maury Povich show is on right now and it is so over the top. These girls are allowing these men to control them completely and are even hurting them physically. I mean, if you were one of these guys doing this awful behavior why would you go on a show like this? And then they are going to a boot camp. I don't know, really crazy to me. I would never stay with someone like that let alone go on one of these shows.

Tired, Tired and Still Tired

Hi Everyone! Today was a long day at work. Not that the clients made it long but I was so tired out from yesterday that rest hasn't caught up with me yet and fatigue is still here even as I write this.

Me, Heather, Mom and Dad went to the Nascar race yesterday at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA. We only got to enjoy 87 laps of racing even though we got there at 9am and didn't get home until after 9 o'clock last night. The race had a couple of accidents and a bunch of weather related delays. I was wet and tired let me tell you. So we finally headed home and they were planning on restarting the race at eleven o'clock pm Pacific time but the water was still weeping from the seems in the track and they finally postponed it until today.

So they finished the Sprint Cup race today without me in attendance. Carl Edwards won but my driver Kasey Kahne did ok. They also ran a Nationwide series race after the first race which had been postponed since Saturday. Tony Stewart won that race.

So, I think I will end this now before I completely lose all of my readers entirely. LOL I know most of you don't like Nascar much or sports in general, but I grew up a daddy's girl and I am so sports oriented. I'm a Dodgers fan, USC of course, Anaheim Ducks fan, and Lakers fan.

I will have to start getting ready for my trip to see my sister this weekend. Time is creeping up fast and Saturday will be March already. Dang, today is ten months until Christmas. LOL

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well, and indeed, visiting your journals I have found most of you are. Though some are down right now, sorta like me, I am in this funk and can't seem to get out of it. I wish I could figure out what is going on with me.

It was just a cool day today with many clouds in the sky with a hint of wetness. I sound like the weather chick on the evening news. LOL

My sister is almost done with the chemo treatments. She has three more to go and I know she will be very happy when they are done. She is eating very scarcely and she says she has lost about ten pounds. I worry so much about her. She has always been so vibrant and athletic, always on the go and mostly with a smile on her face, but right now, so much down time, not working, staying at home, and the dreaded throwing up. The only positive thing she tells me is that her hair hasn't or isn't falling out and probably wont since the dosage isn't at the highest amount. I will be visiting her for a week. I will be leaving on Saturday morning March 1. I'm not a big fan of flying these days but I am looking forward to seeing my big sister Carrie.

I think I have gone on enough with all of what is or isn't going on in my life at the moment. I do hope you have a happy tomorrow and as always be sure to keep a smile on your face! Luv ya! TTFN

Hi Everyone. I just wanted to stop by and wish everyone a wonderful Valentine's Day or now Evening. My sweet Rene sent me two dozen roses today. It made me feel so special. I have been sorta depressed lately and I don't have any real reason for it. That picked me up a bit. He will be home soon and we are going out for dinner. I will reward my baby tonight the best way I know how!!
