Happy Birthday Baby, I'm not Happy!

 

   

 

I'm not particularly happy right now!  Why you ask?  Well, it is Rene's birthday and I had the evening planned out for him but lo and behold his work needed him to come in.  You probably haven't seen me angry but this is my rant!!!!

 

I was going to take him out to a nice meal at the Olive Garden, his favorite restaurant.  I was going to get him drunk on wine and then bring him home and give him a birthday present he'd never forget.  And here I am all alone writing this entry.  We did go out to dinner, yes indeed, he ended up with a Burrito Supreme and me a taco salad.  Yippee!! 

 

Anyway, happy birthday to my baby!!!!  I love you so much and you mean the world to me.  There isn't anything that I wouldn't do for you and I can't wait for you to get home tonight. 

     

One last thing before I go  . . . I want to wish Heather good luck on her exams which started today I think.  I don't think you need luck because you are a smart cookie.  But I just wanted to let you know I was thinking about you.  Luv ya!  In honor of this special day I have put our song on my page . . . Hi Everyone! Monday has pretty much come and gone. I do have some good news. My sister Carrie was released from the hospital this morning. She is doing OK. I got to talk with her a while during my lunch break. She keeps saying she wants to get back to work, but I hope she takes the rest of this week off. But she is a lot like me, stubborn!! LOL

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers from you all, I appreciate it more than you know. My day today was pretty much ordinary. Nothing much exciting happened. Sunday Update, Survey Time

     

Here it is going on Sunday evening and the dusk is turning into night.  I'm getting ready to get my dinner, a salad of course, and some veggies and water.  Can't allow myself to not eat healthy you know.

 

Well, my sister is improving and eating now without nausea.  Her fever has broken.  They decided not to release her today from the hospital but it looks very good for her to go home tomorrow.  My mom says she is looking pretty good and smiling a little.  That warms my heart.  I did briefly talk to her today.  I told her how much I loved her and missed her and wished I was there taking care of her.  I'm almost ready to cry writing this so I'd better move on to a survey so I will be happy again!!!

Hi Everyone!  I'm here feeling a little better today because my sister had her procedure done this morning and they cleared out the blockage.  I guess she is resting more peacefully right now and will spend one more night in the hospital unless there is some sort of complication.  Her fever is very low now and hopefully she will be able to get something down into her stomach tonight.  Thanks for all your nice thoughts and comments.

Friday Sister Update

Hi everyone.  I just wanted to keep you updated on my sister.  I talked to her very briefly today.  She is still in the hospital.  They did however find out what was going on with her and it wasn't a bad case of the flu nor was it food poisoning.  It turns out that she has a blockage in a tube leading to her kidney and they are going to do a procedure to unblock it.  She is very weak right now and not eating, only on an IV.  So hopefully her fever will be acceptable to do the procedure in the morning and maybe he will be home by Sunday or Monday.

 

I don't have anything planned this weekend.  Heather is busy with her studying with her finals coming up this week.  So I may talk to her on the phone but won't be doing anything with her until after and that bums me out a bit.  Rene has been a working fool.  It seems that is all he does.  He is putting in like 60 hours a week.  They are very shorthanded.  It would be nice if he got paid the overtime but when you are on salary you don't get extra,  unless it is a bonus down the line.

Sister still in Hospital, Survey Ho is Back

    

Hi Everyone!  I just wanted to start by updating you on my sister.  She wasn't released from the hospital today because she was still carrying a fever and she hasn't eaten anything yet, still can't keep it down.  I feel so bad for her.  They still can't say for sure what it is but they are hoping for her to be able to go home tomorrow.  Thank you for sending support for her and for me.
