Announcing my new Dear Ally Journal

    

Hi everyone.  I have taken the step of creating another journal for the sole purposes of the Dear Ally column I mentioned in my last entry.  I figured it would be better that way.

Hi everyone!  I hope you all had a wonderful week and that you have many good and fun plans for the weekend.  My week went pretty well and was pretty fast.  Next week will even be faster with only four working days and then one of my favorite holidays Independence Day!

 

Charities

I wanted to share with you a couple charities that are close to my heart.  I do so love children and most of you know that I can't wait to someday have some of my own. Sometimes children don't get the live the lives that they need and their lives are cut short due to many reasons including catastrophic illness.  It breaks my heart when a little one will never be able to grow up to live as an adult.  So I wanted to pass along a couple of links to these charities so you could check them out and maybe get involved in someway in your communities.

Dear Ally?

Rene  has been bugging me for a while now saying that I am so addicted to the Internet that I should make myself useful.  LOL  He thinks that I'd be great at giving advice to people that may want it.  He often calls me Dear Ally and thinks I'm more hip than the old Dear Abby column.  I don't know about that but I do care about people and decided that I would love it if any of you wanted to ask me advice on anything I'd be happy to do my best to help you.  So please send me your problems and or relationship questions and I will be more than happy to answer them here.

 

Reality Shows

As most of you know I love watching reality TV shows.  My favorite, Big Brother, will be back on the air on July 13 Woohoo!  Hell's Kitchen is down to the final two between Petrozza and Christina!  Should be exciting.  The Mole has been pretty fun to watch and that caps off a wonderful Monday night with The Bachelorette on before it.  I really do like DeAnna and hope she finds what she is looking for.

 

Anyway, I think I've jabbered enough for one day.  I know you all have many journals to read.  Have yourselves a happy weekend and remember to keep a smile on your pretty faces.  Luv ya!  TTFN

Hi Everyone!  I hope you have had a happy weekend so far.  I've had a pretty good one.  Today is relaxing day and of course BBQ day at Mom and Daddy's!

  

Friday night me and Rene went to dinner at Black Angus and we went to see the movie "Get Smart".  It was pretty good.  It was slow starting but it was ok, not great, but fun.  I will say that Anne Hathaway is a really pretty girl and I sure wish that I had her legs!

   

Yesterday went over to Heather's and went swimming with her family and Valerie.  They have such a beautiful pool and hot tub.  You never want to leave or get out.  The weather has been so fricken hot here the past several days.  It is supposed to start cooling a bit today.  Summer is here!

 

I wanted to pass my condolences to the people in the NHRA community who lost Scott Kalitta yesterday in a horrendous crash in New Jersey.  It was fiery and ending in a big wreck at the end of the drag strip.  They will race today with heavy hearts.

Laker Girls vs Celtics Dancers

This is my contribution to the NBA finals which are ending tonight as our Lakers are clearly getting trounced by the Boston Celtics.  I mean, this game is so bad I was forced to come up with something that makes me happy.  LOL  So here they are the Celtics Dancers and the Laker Girls.  I singled out two of them, one from each team.

I want to say to my Daddy that I hope that he will have the most wonderful Father's Day ever.  I know he will because I will be a part of his day!!!  LOL     I love you so very much!!!

 

I hope all of your Fathers and to all my J-land friend's Fathers with have a very happy day as well.  I also want to acknowledge all of you that I know that lost their Dads this year . . . I know you miss them very much and I know that life is so very fragile and all too short.  So make every day count with your Father and everyone else that you love in your life cause you never know when it will be too late to let them know how much you care.

I Think I'm Back to Normal

         

I think I'm getting back to my old self.  It has taken me longer than I would have ever anticipated.  The end of last week hit me with such ferocity and unexpectedness that I guess I was ill equipped to deal with my own feelings and emotions.  I guess it is way easier for me to help others than to help myself when something not so good happens.

 

I think my friend Deb really helped today with getting me out of the duldrums.  She sent me such a sweet, caring and wonderful email that it just hit the right spot at exactly the right time.  She told me how much light I had inside of me, how I do so much to make her feel better when she isn't feeling so great.  I guess that I just realize that I have so much more to offer than sitting her moping around.  It took a little longer than it should have but here I am, feeling much better and more like me.

 

Thank you all for your concern, I truly from the bottom of my heart appreciate each and everyone of you that I consider my friend.  I hope you will all have a happy tomorrow, which just so happens to be Friday the 13th.  Don't walk under any ladders or allow a black cat to cross your paths.  LOL    Luv ya!  TTFN

Hi everyone!  I haven't much felt like being online the past couple of days.  I've been in a real funk and kinda depressed.  I've been crying a lot too since Friday night.  One of the clients I really liked committed suicide.  I just saw her on Wednesday and she didn't seem to be any different than she always has.  She has had bouts of depression in the past.  I feel like there should have been something I could have done to have prevented it and I feel a lot guilty right now.  Maybe I'm not cut out for this kind of work.

 

I want to acknowledge my friend Jimmy for picking me as one of his editor's picks this week.  I have had two in two weeks and I feel special here in J-land. 

 

Kasey Kahne won the Nascar race today and that made me a little bit happy.  Usually I'd be ecstatic about that but I am just not feeling it at the moment.  I really wish I could reset the hands of time and go back to Wednesday and change the outcome of the events for the rest of the week.  I'm sorry if I'm a downer today so I will just leave this entry at that.
