Interesting Trip to the Grocery Store

Hi Everyone!  How are you all doing today and this evening?  I'm doing OK here.  No major events going on at my workplace today thank goodness.  Too much drama there for me lately.

Unfortunately on the way home tonight, when I stopped by the grocery store to pick up a few things, I had the displeasure and misfortune of running into my ex's girlfriend Kristen.  It is always so nice to run into the woman you found in your bed with your boyfriend.  That is a memory that will forever stay etched in my mind.

I hesitate in telling you all that happened here today because just thinking about it is too unbelievable.  Anyway, she decided to not only make eye contact with me, which I was trying to avoid at all costs LOL, she felt the need to approach me and carry on a conversation.  She is always so braggadocios.  She felt the need to inform me that they were finally getting "hitched" and that it would be "rad" if I came.

Honestly, why on earth would I want to go to that?  This chick is so clueless.  I tried, but I just couldn't seem to shake her.  Even cutting down the dog food aisle didn't seem to stop her following me.  LOL  She decides to be complimentary towards me saying that I was "pretty" and that I had a "sexy" smile.  Then she said, lol, "Brad is so great in bed!  I'll bet you miss  his big d**k huh?"

It was such a pathetic attempt to get under my skin.  Let me tell you, I am so way over this dude.  Give me a break!  Then to top it all off she had the audacity to suggest that it would be cool if I could come over on Brad's birthday this Friday night so we could give him a threesome as a present.  I'm not lying, she actually asked.  My answer was a quick "I don't think so!  I wouldn't be caught dead with the likes of a cheater and his skank!"  She just laughed it off and said in parting, "If you change your mind baby cakes (Brad's pet name for me back then) you know the number.  Gee thanks!  Bitch!  LOL  She finally left and I could finish my shopping.  I am still sitting here in disbelief.  If I had been part of it I wouldn't believe it happened.

Well everyone, I hope you will all enjoy you Halloween.  I may get to go to a party.  Rene will be home in the afternoon.  I have missed him a lot and here I am spending the evening with my two favorite friends, myself and I.  LOL  Luv ya!  TTFN

My Monday

Hi Everyone.  How are you today?  I'm doing OK.  We had quite the interesting day at my place of employment today.

First, at about 10:45 am a bomb threat was phoned in to our building.  The police cleared us all out and we didn't get the all clear until about twenty minutes after noon.  Apparently nothing was suspicious was found.  This kind of thing rarely happens around here, and in fact this is the first time since I have been here.

Then about 1:15 pm a co-worker of mine noticed some suspicious man seemingly hanging around my car in the parking lot.  I went out there with the building's security officer to see if we could locate him, but we saw no one near my car.  That made me kinda nervous so I asked for someone to walk me out to my car after work.

Following the events of last Friday it has kinda put me on edge.  I don't want to make too much out of it, but I am a worry wart by nature.

I hope you will all have a terrific Tuesday!  Luv ya!  TTFN

Sunday Fun

Hi everyone!  How was your weekend?  Mine was fun.  My friend Heather just left.  She spent the whole weekend with me and we pretty much did girlie girl things together.  I needed a weekend to veg out.  I want to thank Emmi for making the graphic at the top for me.  You can check her out at  Sweet & Simple Pleasures.

Well, it seems that several people, they shall not be named here, have left me some goodies to remind me of what I really am!!  LOL  I never, in my wildest dreams, ever thought that when I started this journal I'd get a reputation of being a Ho!  But lo and behold it has become reality.  I will post a few of these so called graphics over the next couple of entries and if any of you have any more of such things feel free to send them.  I am resigned to my new J-land nickname.

To commemorate this graphic I will include, what else, another survey for your consumption.
Your Lucky Underwear is Blue
You are caring and extroverted. You've made relationships your number one focus, and your lucky blue underwear can bring some balance to them.
You thrive in one-on-one situations. You are a good listener and a natural born therapist.

Sometimes you let the concerns of others become too important in your life, leading to stress and worry.
If you want more balance, put on your blue underpants. They'll help you take care of yourself first.

I hope you will all have a safe and sane week ahead.  Luv ya!  TTFN

Ally and Heather R Survey Ho's

OK, I'm back everyone, by popular demand with survey heaven.  LOL  But this time I'm not alone!  I'm with BFF Heather!  I'm going to do a survey and she has been kind enough to be pimped out by the survey Ho of J-Land to do one of her own.  First off it will be my survery.  What is my love style?

Your Love Style is Eros
For you, love is all about the passion!
And chances are, you're currently in love.
You have a strong physical response to love...
And you are great at committing
(As long as the person makes your toes curl!)

Now it is on to Heather!  What will she come up with and what kind of Ho is she.  LMAO  She decided on "What Do Guys Like About You?"
Guys Like That You're Fun
You're the type of girl guys brag about knowing
That's because you're cool, funny, and laid back
You're smart enough to know how to be one of the guys
But flirty enough to know how to make them all want you

Oh Brother.  She thinks she is all that!!  Excuse me, she says she knows she is all that!!  LOL

Weekend

Hi everyone!  How are you?  I'm doing OK I guess.  I just finished eating my lunch and I'm sitting here with my friend Heather watching the USC vs Oregon game.  Oregon is winning 10-3 in the second quarter just before halftime.

I cannot go into details, but yesterday at work I had a client totally go off on me for no apparent reason.  I got threatened with bodily harm.  So I was kinda not in an upbeat mood for the rest of the day.  I'm still kinda bummed out about it today.   I haven't even told my mom and dad about it.  Thank goodness Heather is here and she has been cheering me up.

I don't have any exciting plans for this weekend.  Rene had to go out of town for some work related issues and training and won't be back until Wednesday.  Heather is spending the night and pretty much the whole weekend with me.  We will go to my Mom and Dad's for the weekly Nascar bbq tomorrow.

I hope you will all have a nice weekend with fun things to do.  I love you all!  And no surveys today from the survey ho!  LOL  TTFN

Two 4 Thursday

The voting is now 60% favorable for me doing surveys so I thought I'd celebrate by doing, not one, but two for you tonight. LOL  Yes, I'm a survey Ho and proud of it!  Hope you will all have a fantastic Friday.  Luv ya!  TTFN
Your Scent is Rose
Delicate, feminine, and soft
Your personality is fresh and understated

You Are An ENFJ
The Giver

You strive to maintain harmony in relationships, and usually succeed.
Articulate and enthusiastic, you are good at making personal connections.
Sometimes you idealize relationships too much - and end up being let down.
You find the most energy and comfort in social situations ... where you shine.

In love, you are very protective and supporting.
However, you do need to "feel special" - and it's quite easy for you to get jealous.

At work, you are a natural leader. You can help people discover their greatest potential.
You would make a good writer, human resources director, or psychologist.

How you see yourself: Trusting, idealistic, and expressive

When other people don't get you, they see you as: Bossy, inappropriate, and loud

Survey Vote Update

Well, it seems that 42% of the people so far think that I am a survey Ho!  I would really love to know who voted that way!  LOL  Man, what a rough crowd in J-Land!  But that does leave 57% that like them so I will leave you all a new survey for this entry since more of you think that I'm cute in doing them.  Luv ya!  Mu ah!
Your Lust Quotient: 59%
You are definitely a lustful person, but you do a good job of hiding it.
Your friends would be surprised to know that your secretly very wild!

Today

Hi everyone!  I hope you are all doing well.  I'm doing OK for a Tuesday.

I wanted to take time out tonight to ask for all your prayers on behalf of all the victims of the many fires that are out of control here in California.  I have several friends in the Santa Clarita/Valencia area where there have been five separate fires over the past couple of days.  One of those fires has been dubbed the Magic Fire because of it's close proximity to the Magic Mountain theme park.

I feel so badly for all the countless thousands of people that have been displaced from their homes, over a thousand have been burnt down to the ground, and there have even been a couple of deaths associated with these fires.  I hope these winds completely cease soon and the temperatures lower themselves.  It  has been in the mid '90's where I live.  We need some rain so desperately.  So please keep these people in your thoughts and prayers.

On to a lighter note.  Thank you to Donna for the cute animated graphic at the top of this entry.   I am giving my valued readers the chance to direct me to continue or stop doing something.  It will be up to you to decide whether or not I will be allowed to do anymore of these surveys from blogthings.  I hope you will all have a happy hump day tomorrow.  Luv ya!  TTFN

I'm Not From This Planet But Just a Little Bitchy

I hope I am not boring you with this stuff, but I have found it something fun to do and to share with you all.

You Are From the Sun
Of all your friends, you're the shining star.
You're dramatic - loving attention and the spotlight.
You're a totally entertainer and the life of the party.
Watch out! The Sun can be stubborn, demanding, and flirty.
Overall, you're a great leader and great friend. The very best!
I don't consider myself dramatic, but you know, Blogthings never lies right?  LOL  I guess at times I can be stubborn, afterall I am a Leo, hear me roar!

You Are 28% Bitchy
You're a pretty sweet person, and you're definitely not prone to bitchy outbursts.
Sometimes, though, you can't help thinking mean thoughts about people. But at least you don't act on them!
I am a sweet person!  :  )  So anyone thinking otherwise must be the bitchy ones! LMAO

I hope you will all have Terrific Tuesdays.  Thanks for stopping bye.  Luv ya!  TTFN

Oh No! I'm At It Again

I am too addicted to these blogthings surveys.  So what am I tonight?
You are a Mild Mama
You don't have to be screaming at the top of your lungs to have a good time
You rather chill, soak in the moment, and appreciate life for what it is
Guys appreciate your "take life as it comes" approach...
(Though they wouldn't mind if you got a little wild from time to time!)
So, I'm a Mild Mama huh?  Little do they know!  LMAO

You Are As Cool As They Come
Rational and relaxed, no one could accuse you of being dramatic.
You roll with the punches, and nothing ever gets you too worked up.
You are able to maintain perspective and see the big picture.

And even if you're emotional inside, you don't let it show.
You're great at keeping it together, and you're rewarded for that.
People see you as an ideal friend, employee, and partner.
I am as cool as they come!!!  Did you hear that everyone? LOL  No Drama for this Princess.  I hope you will all have a safe and happy week ahead.  Stay positive and keep a smile on your face.  Luv ya!  TTFN

What A Day!!!!!

OMG.  What a wonderful day and night Saturday was to this girlie girl!

First, what an exciting game.  My Trojans man handled those not so fighting Irish of Notre Dame.  Six years in a row baby!  I see my cousin Michelle is back on AOL and leaving me rude comments about UCLA.  LOL  Such a silly girl.

Then at about four o'clock this afternoon Rene comes home early from work.  I didn't expect him until five.  He has this bag with him from Victoria' Secret.  It is this cute dress that he bought me.  I have a picture of what the dress looks like, I don't know if I look as good as this girl does in it but it sure felt nice to wear it.  I felt really sexy with it on.
Then at about Five O'clock we are ready to go to the surprise.  First we stopped at the Black Angus for dinner.  I didn't want to eat that much so I settled for a Caesar's salad, and boy was it good too.  I had a strawberry dacquari as well.  Then we get done with dinner and it is time to head for the car once again.  I plead with him to tell me where we were going but he just smiles at me and didn't spill the beans.
About seven fifteen we arrive at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.  I have no idea what was going on there.  He couldn't possibly be taking me to a game I was thinking.  We park the car and start walking and we don't end up at Staples Center at all, but rather directly across the street is this new theatre.  There is a concert going on there.  I had no idea what the concert was until I finally see that it is the Dixie Chicks, one of my favorite groups . . . but that is not all, the Eagles were also going to be there.  To great groups in the same venue on the same night!  I was so freakin' excited I almost peed my panties.  LOL  Not really, but I was excited as heck.
This is such a pretty theatre let me tell you.  I found out that it holds less that 8,000 seats, so it was an intimate setting which was so perfect.  So we walk in and I had no idea where the seats were and he leads me up to very close to the stage, about four rows from it in fact!  This was such an exceptional evening and the concert was so fantastic.  I enjoyed every single second of it.  All the songs were very familiar to me.  Who doesn't know the Eagles music?  This is the first time I have ever had the opportunity to see them and I really had no idea this concert was going on at all.  How oblivious huh?
Do you know that Rene spent like almost $300 on each ticket. I don't know where he got that money but he told me he'd been saving it.  I feel so special and loved.  After an evening like this, feeling so sexy, I ended the evening by taking care of my Cuddly Bear.  He was a satisfied, of that I have no doubt!  I don't know what I did to deserve such a thoughtful man that adores me.  I am such a lucky girl!

I hope you will all have a wonderful Sunday.  I am headed over to Mom and Dad's for the weekly Nascar BBQ and my friend Heather is coming as well.  Unfortunately Rene has to work.  Luv ya!  TTFN

Welcome and Thanks for Coming

Hi everyone.  I hope you guys all had a fabulous Friday and are looking forward to a wonderful weekend!  I wanted to thank Phil for pimping me out, even though I now feel like a journal HO!  LMAO  It is not everyday that a man gets to pimp me out for anything.  LOL  Thank you to the new people that have come bye, I appreciate the comments and I hope I will be seeing you again soon.

I can't wait until tomorrow night.  I am so excited!  I don't know what the surprise is but he sure seemed excited about it which makes me believe that it is something somewhat big.  He can hide from me what it is exactly but he is bad in hiding the magnitude of it.

I hope you all have a wonderful Friday Night.  Luv ya!  TTFN  You see, I didn't include a survey thing from blogthings tonight . . . that's because I was having a problem with that website.  LOL

Help Me I'm Addicted!

You Are Definitely a Hot Chick
While your little black book isn't as thick as Paris Hilton's...
You get the most dates of any girl you know
It's your whole five star package that attracts men -
Your looks, your charm, and your ability tie a cherry with your tongue.

Someone stop me from doing these things!  I think they are fun and a bit on the meaningless side, although it says that I am hot and who am I to argue? LOL  I'm sure you have seen the end of the marriage of Allison and Blogthings, a match made in . . .who knows?  LOL
You Are 16% Evil
You are good. So good, that you make evil people squirm.
Just remember, you may need to turn to the dark side to get what you want!

Monster Profile, Poll, and Other Stuff

Your Monster Profile
Wild Vampire

You Feast On: M&Ms

You Lurk Around In: Closets

You Especially Like to Torment: Lawyers

Hi everyone!  How are you today?  I am fantastic.  It was a nice day at work.  No stress, clients were in a good mood for some reason, although I did have a couple of sensitive topics that were broached and it brought out some raw emotions from them.

I had a very nice lunch with my co-worker and friend Beverly.  She is such a sweet girl, and beautiful too.  She  has this boyfriend that is hot, to say the least, but I get the feeling she isn't all that happy with him.  If she will talk to me more about it I will be able to get a better feeling.  Here I go again, trying to help someone, and they don't even know it.  LOL

Rene told me not to plan anything for Saturday night because he has a wonderful surprise for me.  Now of course, when  you tell a girl that you have a surprise the first thing one does is try to get a hint or pry it out of him.  He wasn't having any of it and told me to wear something really pretty and sexy that night.  Maybe withholding a little nookie will prompt him to tell me.  LOL  Just kidding, I wouldn't do that, I would be depriving myself as well!

Anyway, I have a Monster profile, which I got from off of Phil's page and decided to do it.  Be sure to click the link at the bottom of it and you can do it too.

I also have this poll, so don't forget to vote now  . . . Ya Hear?!

I hope you all have fantastic Fridays.  Luv ya!  TTFN

Halloween Personality

I thought I'd have a little fun with this.  I don't agree with some of what they say I am, but maybe I just had to be enlightened a bit.  LOL  Maybe you can find out what your Halloween personality is and post it in an entry of your own.  And if you don't have a journal, create one for goodness sake!  LOL

What Your Halloween Habits Say About You
You're a friendly person, but not the life of the party. You like making someone else's day - and you'll dress up if you think of a really fun costume.

You like to think of yourself as naughty. But compared to most people, you're actually quite mild.

Your inner child is bittersweet, thoughtful, and never too greedy.

You truly fear the dark side of humanity. You are a true misanthrope.

You're prone to be quite emotional and over dramatic. Deep down, you enjoy being scared out of your mind... even if you don't admit it.

You are a traditionalist with most aspects of your life. You like your Halloween costume to be basic, well made, and conventional enough to wear another year.

Tuesday and Plugging a Journal

Hi Everyone!  How is your week going so far?  Great I hope.  Tomorrow is over the hump day and then it is down hill right into the weekend.  I don't have any plans so far but hopefully something fun will come about.  Didn't get to go miniature golfing last Friday because it decided to rain so maybe I can drag Rene out for that.
I hope you enjoyed this beautiful tag that was made by the talented Stephanie who has a journal full of tags.  Maybe you can drop bye and see if there are any you may like for yourself and say hi to her.  Here journal is Steph's Stuff .

I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday!  Luv ya!  TTFN

Weekend and It Starts with A

Hi Everyone.  I hope you are having a nice weekend.  Mine has been so much fun.  Rene took me out to dinner on Friday night at a place called The Smoke House.  It is right across from Warner Brothers Studios and has been there a long time.  Many stars have eaten in this restaurant but I didn't recognize anyone when we went.  I broke down and abandoned  my salad diet for one night and had a fantastic petite Filet Mignon.

It was too cool and damp out Friday night for us to go miniature golfing so we decided to take in a movie.  We saw Michael Clayton with George Clooney.  It was a pretty good movie and of course George is eye candy lol.  We capped off the evening well, I never kiss and tell.

Yesterday was a lot of fun with Heather and her family.  We actually got to see a winner, although it looked iffy for a while.  My Trojans prevailed!!

I will leave you with a little tag game I got from someone.  Maybe you can play along with an entry in your journal.

I hope  you have a wonderful Sunday!  Luv ya!  TTFN

Happy Happy Busy Bee

Hi Everyone!  How was you Friday?  It was good for me and it is going to get better.

Tonight Rene has told me that he is taking me to a nice restaurant and a nice game of miniature golf, that is if it doesn't rain.  It has been so long since I went and played mini golf.  My dad used to take me and Carrie all the time when we were kids.  When with Rene I like to pretend to not know what I am doing, how to hold the club and how to swing it properly, so as I can get some much needed assistance from my Cuddly Bear.

I also cannot wait until tomorrow.  It's time to go out to the Coliseum for the USC game against Arizona.  It seems I've become a mainstay with Heather and her family and I am expected to join them each time USC is home, and I'm not complaining.  I'm waiting for them to invite me on a road trip. LOL  They have always made me feel like part of the family.  Anytime they have a party or event I get invited.

They usually invite Rene as well but he usually has an excuse to not go which seems to be OK with Heather since she would rather have me all to herself and not share.  LOL  Heather's little brother William has  a thing for me too.  He is always trying to impress me with something.  He just got a Corvette and kept begging me to go for a ride with him, I said uh, "I think you ought to find yourself a girlfriend".  The game ought to be better than last week, I hope!  John David Interception won't be playing due to a broken middle finger.  I hear he has gotten into trouble all week with his professors because they think he is flipping the bird.  Just Kidding!  Sanchez will be getting his first start and I can't wait to see how he does.  Look for me in the crowd, the game is on ABC.  Be sure to watch Jae!

One last thing before I have to go get ready.  I wanted to mention another TV show I used to like to watch.  The Wonder Years.  I was only like ten at the time but I had the biggest crush on Kevin Arnold (Fred Savage).  I could not stand Winnie.  My nickname for her was Winnie the Poo Poo.  Silly huh?

Well, I think I'd better finish getting ready.  Have a wonderful Friday night as well as a fabulous weekend.  Luv ya!  TTFN

Love is in the Air

Hi Everyone!  Hope  your Thursday was a good one.  Mine was a pretty good day at work.  Then again, I have been in a good mood since last night that I don't think that anything could have bothered me today.

Rene came home from work last night.  He came right to me instead of doing something else which was out of the ordinary.  He became very apologetic and told me that he had been neglecting me lately and he had just come to that realization that afternoon.  We have been doing things without each other lately.  Rene spends a lot of time with his friends and had begrudgingly been not too happy about me doing the same recently.  He is one of the reasons why I stopped being online and journaling over the past year.  I finally got fed up and told him I was going to do something that I had missed for way too long.

I, of course, told him that he really hadn't been neglecting me but he insisted he had been and that he was sorry for that.  He was very loving and arrived at some epiphany yesterday afternoon.  He told me how much he loved me, treasured me, and that I make his life complete even though he doesn't show it as much or as often as he should.

Then being the softy I am, I melted away into his arms and enjoyed his sweet caresses and a little more of course.  LOL  He knows how much I love being held and he held me the entire night and when I awoke he was still there, all be it he had a very dead arm.  I rubbed it and woke it up again for him and it made him feel better, and he had this look on his face like it was the first date all over again.  I felt a bit giggly.  I would do anything for my Cuddly Bear!  OK, I know you are getting a bit of a sickening feeling in your guts about now so I will stop with the love story.

At work today, I received this beautiful arrangement of two dozen roses.  I love getting flowers and it has been a while since I have gotten any.

One last thing, I can't wait for him to come home tonight . . . I have something special planned for that man!

Anyway, thanks for enduring my story.  I'm hopin' that everyone will have a great end to your work weeks tomorrow.  Luv ya!  TTFN

Today is Hump Day

Hi Everyone,  I hope your hump days turned out to be happy ones.  I happy today.  The world is just so wonderful!  I don't like being down so when I get that way for a day or so I find a way to pick myself up.

It seems that many of you didn't much care for my choice of TV shows yesterday.  I needed to watch something fun and it helped to put me in a good mood.  I did also watch that show Carpoolers afterwards.  That show is so silly.  I do like Jerry O'Donnell who was in a show I watched several years ago called Sliders.  I don't know if any of you saw that show but I liked it, kept my interest.

So I got to thinking, what other shows have I liked over the years or currently.  Maybe you will have the same taste as me and maybe you will think, wow Allison what a dork for watching those shows!

I do like Sci Fi shows.  Steven King movies and mini-series have interested me.  I used to watch Star Trek the Next Generation and do sometimes still.  I was a big Buffy the Vampire Slayer lover.  I used to not be able to wait for that show and another show called Dawson's Creek.  Then there was this show that was cancelled a couple of years ago called American Dreams.  I loved it and it only lasted like two or three years.  Wholesome TV so I guess that is why it didn't last longer.  For comedy I can still be seen chuckling at an episode of Seinfeld.  That show is so funny, all the dysfunctional characters in it.  Come to think of it, maybe that is my motivation forbecoming a therapist, you think?  LOL  And I really love watching the show Lost.  Sawyer is such a baby cakes!  Let me know what shows you watch and maybe we watch some of the same things.  And of course like so many others I couldn't wait for the next episode of the Sopranos which is now over!  One last show to give props to is the Ghost Whisperer.  If you aren't doing anything on Friday nights at 8 be sure to tune in to CBS.

I got weirded out today while I was in my car headed home.  I was at a stop light waiting for it to turn green and there were these two guys staring at me wiggling their tongues at me.  It kinda spooked me a little.  There was a lot of traffic around so it wasn't like I was alone on a street with them or anything.  But it seemed they followed me for a while.  It was a bit scary until they finally turned off onto another street.

I can't wait for two more weeks to come.  Carrie Underwood's new album will be out.  I just love her music, of course I've said so before, but I'm saying it again, OK!  LMAO

I had a few nice conversations last night.  I was excited to get the chance to talk with Jimmy from, you guessed it, the East Coast, Jersey!  He is such a cool guy and he has a very big heart.  I know some of you may know him from the Stupidsheet

Anyway, I best get out of Dodge before you get totally bored to death here.  I'm just in a talky mood tonight.  Luv ya all for stopping bye!  TTFN

No Subject Really

Hi everyone!  Here it is Tuesday already.  It feels like it ought to be Friday about now.  It has been that type of week already.  I'm not one to complain so I won't start now.

I'm in the midst of two Instant Message conversation with two eligible men from the Eastern U.S. at the moment.  Both hot of course!!! LOL

I just got through watching the TV show Caveman.  One word, Stupid!  But still, it kept my interest to some extent.

I don't have much more to say tonight other than the graphic on this entry was by Donna, and I just love it.  Have a marvelous Hump Day everyone!!  Luv ya!  TTFN

WTH Happened?

Hi everyone!  I'm at Heather's for the night.  Girls night tonight!  We had a great day today.  We went to the USC game at the Coliseum.  They played the Stanford Cardinal.  They didn't play as well as I had hoped. In fact, we are really bummed out, they freakin lost!  We are so stunned right now.  John David Booty isn't the best QB we have ever had throwing four interceptions.  At least my cousin Michelle, the UCLA grad cannot razz me too much since her team lost to Notre Dame.  Anyway, we tailgated and had lots of good eats and a couple drinks as well, so the evening wasn't a total loss LOL.  I love going out to the game.  I guess I grew up a daddy's girl which turned me into a sports fan.  My sister is more active in sports than I am but I think I follow sports closer.  Heather, she is just happy to be doing anything fun which she seems to find all the time.  LOL

Rene is working today and he is going to go out with the guys after he is done.  Not sure what he has planned but he'd better behave himself.  LOL

I really don't have much more to say or report on.  I'm having a good time and it is just what I needed to end this week.  I hope everyone enjoys their Sunday!  Luv ya!  TTFN

I'm Glad Tomorrow is Friday

Hi Everyone!  It's been a very busy week for me.  Work has been very difficult on me this week.  I have to tell you, I don't have to, but I choose to tell you that even though we aren't supposed to be emotional in the lives of our clients is so difficult to be that objective and hold back our emotions when they are telling you heart wrenching things.  I do a good job in that area while I am with them but a couple of times this week after they have left when the session was over I pretty much broke down in tears at my desk.  My heart takes over sometimes and I have to let the emotions out.

I am a very emotional person by nature.  I don't exactly know why that is.  I have been able to not show these emotions in front of the client and I fear someday I won't.  We, as therapists, are not supposed to have any emotional attachment to the people who come to pour out their lives to us.  To me it is unrealistic unless you are a robot.   I swear that in my sessions we end up going through at least two boxes of tissues a week.

My Aunt and Uncle have had a hard week.  My Uncle's mother has been in the hospital since Monday and was supposed to be released on Tuesday.  I hope so much that things will get back to normal to all of them real soon.  It hurts me to see anyone in anguish.

Then there is my friend Jae, not only is her son battling illness, thankfully it is looking better for him, but she is having her own physical problems.  I just pray that all these situations will resolve themselves quickly and positively.

I do have some good news to report.  My friend Jenna is going to have a baby.  I am so excited for her and Tom!  You go girlie girl!  LOL

I am sure Lisa is happy right now, all plopped down in front of the TV watching her favorite actress Jorja Fox on CSI.

To Brandi, I hope you have fun and a successful flight attendant training.

I wanted to send a special thank you out to my best friend Heather.  She sent me a bouquet of the most beautiful flower arrangement you ever saw.  That put a big smile on my face when I needed one most!  Luv ya H!

To my friend Beverly, can't wait to taste your wonderful quesadilla recipe tomorrow.  Don't forget it!  LOL

I hope you all have a wonderful Friday.  TGIF.  Luv ya!  TTFN
