Turkey Day Weekend Winds Down

Hi Everyone! I hope that you have all had sensational weekends so far. This is the end and then it is back to our normal weekly duties tomorrow.

I just got back from dropping Carrie and Dan off at the airport for their trip home. I get so emotional, I sat there with tears running down my face, Carrie just smiled at me and wiped one of those tears off in such a sweet sisterly way. Where is she now that I am doing it again? LOL Luckily it will be a few more weeks and they will be back here for Christmas, I can't wait for that.

Looks like Rene's family will make it up here for Christmas as well and I know he is very happy about that. Valerie had a great time on Thanksgiving with us and boy can that chick eat. I don't think we had any turkey left after she got through, of course she had a lot of help too. LOL She was very happy that her Cowboys and Longhorns won. We will see today if her Texas team will get to play in the Big 12 championship game. USC beat Notre Dame last night, Yea!!! All they have to do is beat UCLA, those stinkers, sorry Michelle, next week and the Rose Bowl is there's again. I hope that happens cause I will get to go.

Today, it is rest and relaxation day. Valerie may come over later. We spent the majority of the day together yesterday going out shopping and then coming back here to watch some of the football games. You should see the way the guys oogle over her when she walks by. That girl sure has it goin' on!

If you haven't noticed, on my sidebar I have put a link to vote in the People's choice awards coming up in about a month, and of course I am campaigning for Carrie Underwood to win. She is nominated for two awards. If you feel so inclined, please go and vote and don't forget Carrie! : )

Anyway, that is about all for now. Hope you will all have a fantastic Sunday and here's wishing you a very happy week ahead. Luv ya! TTFN

You Are an Impulse Shopper

When you go shopping, you have no set strategy. You just browse until something catches your eye.

You like sales, but you mostly like them because they're an excuse to shop.

Of all the types, you are the most likely to be a shopaholic. You can't stop shopping!

You're not the kind of person who makes a list or plans what to buy. So sometimes you end up with too much stuff.

The good news is, your sister will be back before you know it! :)

I know what it's like. I used to feel so blue when my parents would fly back home after visiting me in Washington. Now that I'm back home in WV, it's nicer.

BTW, the quiz told me I'm a 'reluctant' shopper. hahahaha!
That is sooooo OFF base. LMAO

XOXO

Four days off sure didn't seem LONG enough! I want more, ALL weekends should be four days, right?

Hopefully time will go quickly and you will have your sister visiting again for Christmas.

I voted for the People's Choice Awards - it's one of the few award shows that I actually enjoy ... and YES, I voted for Carrie Underwood as I like her too.
