Sunday Update, Survey Time

Here it is going on Sunday evening and the dusk is turning into night.  I'm getting ready to get my dinner, a salad of course, and some veggies and water.  Can't allow myself to not eat healthy you know.

Well, my sister is improving and eating now without nausea.  Her fever has broken.  They decided not to release her today from the hospital but it looks very good for her to go home tomorrow.  My mom says she is looking pretty good and smiling a little.  That warms my heart.  I did briefly talk to her today.  I told her how much I loved her and missed her and wished I was there taking care of her.  I'm almost ready to cry writing this so I'd better move on to a survey so I will be happy again!!!
You are a Serious Date
Your dating philosophy?
"Dating is for finding a compatible partner"
You're not so concerned with how you date...
As much as where the relationship ends up.

Guys to look for:
Men who write a good bit about what they're looking for.
Not only does it show that they are serious about dating as well -
But that they've already put a good deal of thought in to it.

Heck I think I am feeling a little extra happy now so here is another one!!!
Your Vibe Is Secretly Sexy
Sexy isn't exactly a word you'd use to describe yourself
But you have a quite allure that certain men feel appealing
You don't need to flaunt your stuff to be sexier
A little more confidence in yourself, and you'll really light up a room!

Friday Sister Update

Hi everyone.  I just wanted to keep you updated on my sister.  I talked to her very briefly today.  She is still in the hospital.  They did however find out what was going on with her and it wasn't a bad case of the flu nor was it food poisoning.  It turns out that she has a blockage in a tube leading to her kidney and they are going to do a procedure to unblock it.  She is very weak right now and not eating, only on an IV.  So hopefully her fever will be acceptable to do the procedure in the morning and maybe he will be home by Sunday or Monday.

I don't have anything planned this weekend.  Heather is busy with her studying with her finals coming up this week.  So I may talk to her on the phone but won't be doing anything with her until after and that bums me out a bit.  Rene has been a working fool.  It seems that is all he does.  He is putting in like 60 hours a week.  They are very shorthanded.  It would be nice if he got paid the overtime but when you are on salary you don't get extra,  unless it is a bonus down the line.

Anyway, I hope you all have an exceptional weekend.  Thanks to Emmi for the cute penguin igloo tag.  Luv ya!  TTFN

My Sister is Sick : (

Hi Everyone!  How was your day today?  Mine was ok.  Happy to be feeling better each and everyday.

I wish I can say the same for my sister.  I am worried about her.  She was throwing up a lot yesterday and had a high fever of about 102.5.  She thought it was the flu.  Dan, her husband, took her to the hospital this morning when she wasn't all better and in some pain.  It looks like she has a bad case of food poisoning. At least that is what they think it is.  They are keeping her in the hospital overnight tonight.  I haven't had the chance to talk to her but Dan says he thinks she will be ok.  I can't help but worrying, that's what I do.

Anyway, I'm going to make this short.  Have a good Thursday everyone.  Luv ya!  TTFN

Nice Weekend, Michelle on Her Way Home

Hi everyone!  I had such a wonderful weekend and I am so sad it is coming to an end.

I have to thank my dear Heather so much for such a wonderful surprise.  Flying my cousin in from Arizona and having her here for the weekend was such a fantastic thing for her to do.  The last time I saw Michelle I was being the sick little girl for her that she had to take care of along with her children.  I'm not totally well yet but I can't tell you how sweet it was to see her, share my closest cousin with my best friend.  We all got along so well.

The game yesterday was fantastic.  WE won, beating our arch rival, and earning a trip to the Rose Bowl.  I almost felt sorry for Michelle at the game, LOL,  Here she was in her cute little baby blue UCLA jersey in a sea of cardinal and gold.  She didn't have too much to be excited about because we smoked them.  Everyone was giving her a hard time, all in fun though.  She enjoyed herself just being with me and Heather.

We went out on Friday night, just the three of us to a dance club.  Us married girlies kept pushing Heather towards all the guys.  Poor girl, the more we drank the more we teased her about being the only single girl in the group.  There were plenty of guys hitting on her, and me and Michelle for that matter.

It was sad taking her to the Burbank airport to send her back home.    I miss her so much being here.  The two saddest days of my life were when Michelle moved away and when my sister moved away.

I hope you all had an enjoyable weekend.  Time to get ready for the new week, and here it is December already.  Wow!  Christmas is in three weeks.  I guess I'd better get busy in finishing that shopping.  Have a good week everyone! Luv ya!  TTFN
