Feeling a bit Down

Hi everyone.  I have been a bit lonely this week and it is kinda getting me down.  Rene is at work, he has had to work the overnight shift this week.  I don't like not having him in our bed at night.  I like being able to cuddle and maybe a few more things, but he isn't there.  OK, I know you are saying stop the pity party Allison.

I did just get off of the phone with my sister.  I miss her so much.  We always had our sibling rivalries, but we were always close.  Now she is married and moved to Washington state.  At times I feel like I will never get to see her again even though I know that isn't true.  She is doing fine and enjoying her life and is very upbeat, something she has always been.  If you are reading this Carrie I love you, you silly party girl!  LOL

I don't like sitting here depressed.  So let me talk about something else.  Let me see . . . oh yeah.  Did anyone see Britney Spears on the VMA awards show.  It was supposed to be her big comeback and it was a flop.  I guess she came very late, like three hours late, to the rehearsal.  She had had a few drinks.  She didn't perform the dance moves the way they were supposed to be done and it was a complete flop as some in the audience were laughing.  I feel sorry for this girl.  She is so messed up.  Of course some of the attention was taken off of her when Tommy Lee and Kid Rock got into a fight presumably over Pamela Anderson.

Well I think I have taken up enough of your time this evening.  Have a happy hump day tomorrow.  Luv ya lots!  TTFN

Don't be sad!  Don't be depressed!  Maybe you can come visit your sister in WA soon?  Really soon?
And head over to the "other side of the tracks" where your friend lives???  LOL!
I did not see the Britney fiasco, but I heard about it.  The Kid Rock/Tommy Lee conflict I heard nothing about.  They can't be fighting over P.A. can they???  Hope you feel better...Love, Jae

I was talking about depression with another friend the other day. We discussed what it's like, why we have it and why we need it. A good cry is good for the soul. It is a feeling of being alive, it's part of our existance. As long as our depression doesn't linger and we can move forward it's the greatest medicine to realize how blessed we truly are. Feel down, cry a bit and be happy. You are special and I even see it after such a short time of being able to read your journal (I've been reading and trying to get to know you better lol).

I'm sorry your sister moved so far away! Oye, I can't imagine moving far away and not being able to come home. Even being a flight attendant and leaving isn't as hard. I can always just fly home when I'm gone.

I hope you have a good night.

I think it's perfectly alright to have a little pity-party now and then. Loneliness is one of life's little mean things, and going through it is supposed to make us appreciate the times we aren't alone. But that doesn't always make it easier to take. Hopefully, the overnights don't last too long, or occur too frequently. Your friends are here though, in the meantime.

Luv ya

Sorry you are feeling lonely, but is this night shift permanent?

I saw Brit...oh very sad...I didn't see a comeback in that.

Hope today is a better day for you hon. We all have these days when it seems the day is longer than we want and we're sinking in our own despair. The nice things about days like this, is they don't last and life marches ever onward. (Hugs) Indigo
