What A Day!!!!!

OMG.  What a wonderful day and night Saturday was to this girlie girl!

First, what an exciting game.  My Trojans man handled those not so fighting Irish of Notre Dame.  Six years in a row baby!  I see my cousin Michelle is back on AOL and leaving me rude comments about UCLA.  LOL  Such a silly girl.

Then at about four o'clock this afternoon Rene comes home early from work.  I didn't expect him until five.  He has this bag with him from Victoria' Secret.  It is this cute dress that he bought me.  I have a picture of what the dress looks like, I don't know if I look as good as this girl does in it but it sure felt nice to wear it.  I felt really sexy with it on.
Then at about Five O'clock we are ready to go to the surprise.  First we stopped at the Black Angus for dinner.  I didn't want to eat that much so I settled for a Caesar's salad, and boy was it good too.  I had a strawberry dacquari as well.  Then we get done with dinner and it is time to head for the car once again.  I plead with him to tell me where we were going but he just smiles at me and didn't spill the beans.
About seven fifteen we arrive at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.  I have no idea what was going on there.  He couldn't possibly be taking me to a game I was thinking.  We park the car and start walking and we don't end up at Staples Center at all, but rather directly across the street is this new theatre.  There is a concert going on there.  I had no idea what the concert was until I finally see that it is the Dixie Chicks, one of my favorite groups . . . but that is not all, the Eagles were also going to be there.  To great groups in the same venue on the same night!  I was so freakin' excited I almost peed my panties.  LOL  Not really, but I was excited as heck.
This is such a pretty theatre let me tell you.  I found out that it holds less that 8,000 seats, so it was an intimate setting which was so perfect.  So we walk in and I had no idea where the seats were and he leads me up to very close to the stage, about four rows from it in fact!  This was such an exceptional evening and the concert was so fantastic.  I enjoyed every single second of it.  All the songs were very familiar to me.  Who doesn't know the Eagles music?  This is the first time I have ever had the opportunity to see them and I really had no idea this concert was going on at all.  How oblivious huh?
Do you know that Rene spent like almost $300 on each ticket. I don't know where he got that money but he told me he'd been saving it.  I feel so special and loved.  After an evening like this, feeling so sexy, I ended the evening by taking care of my Cuddly Bear.  He was a satisfied, of that I have no doubt!  I don't know what I did to deserve such a thoughtful man that adores me.  I am such a lucky girl!

I hope you will all have a wonderful Sunday.  I am headed over to Mom and Dad's for the weekly Nascar BBQ and my friend Heather is coming as well.  Unfortunately Rene has to work.  Luv ya!  TTFN

Wow, what a night, I am so glad you never peed your knickers, it wouldn't go down too well in a black dress huh?
Reading this was like ground hog day, I am sure your Uncle mentioned this the other day in his blog. Wasn't he trying to get tickets for the same concert too?
